When do Sov troops go from the one experience level below the stated level (regulars act like green troops) to the proper experience setting (vets=vets). It's a month and year, but I can't find it in the manual (and I know it's in there!). Isn't it like Sept of 41?

I always wonder how many shots from 75mm, 88mm and 105mm guns could bring down vairous structures in my town. Given the cheap, lightweight construction of North American single family dwellings, I would not want to order a squad to use them for cover.

I lost a BA A/C to my opponent's 81mm mortar drop. The same round fragmented and hit the gun of my T34/85 about ten meters away, and damaged it's gun! :eek: Talk about a luck hit for my opponent! Now that's arty well spent!! :mad:

That's normal. When the turret skirts were modded with mesh in CMBO on the Pv IVs, it did the same thing from the level 1 view. It's a shortcoming of the current CM graphics engine.
