I have a question...
Crash-Neptune replied to Major Concussion's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I really dont think that there is a spotter for an airplane, just the airplane itself. Someone else may know something more? -
Actually, I meant big arty spotters & 75mm's. I dont know why I was thinking that.
-
I just had a 60mm mortar take out a hetzer and it got me wondering what is the biggest vehicle youv'e taken out with a mortar. Spotters dont count.
-
I was wondering if flamethrowers, like the portable one or maybe the wasp could explode when hit, or would the tanks be hard to ignite? They could cause a small (large?) explosion. I've read that one of the major downsides to manning a flamethrower was the risk of it catching fire or exploding on you back (Yikes.) [ 12-01-2001: Message edited by: Crash-Neptune ]

Crash-Neptune replied to Chad Harrison's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
How accurate is the zook/shreck compared to the PIAT? I've heard it's pretty accurate. -

Your favorite vehicle in CM is?
Crash-Neptune replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I'd have to say that my two favorite vehicles would have to be the Hellcat and the Chaffee. Why- Chaffee- for the reasons Richard stated and the fact that it helped win me my first game. M18- For all previous reasons and The fact that it just plain looks cool. I also like the M20 A.U.C. -

Hometown Scenario
Crash-Neptune replied to Crash-Neptune's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Wow. Sattelite pictures? Would you, or anyone else, for that matter, happen to know where I can find the site? -
I was thinking of making a scenario of my own neighborhood, and I was wondering if anyone else ever thought of doing this. It'd be fun have a KT parked outside of my house. With all these fields out here, It'd be good tank country. So, anyone else ever thought/have done this? [ 10-31-2001: Message edited by: Crash-Neptune ]

CM Appreciation Suggestion
Crash-Neptune replied to Shep's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I agree. I once abstained from CM for a week to get me feel for the CC3 T.R.F. Once I fired up CM again, It took me a while to get my feel for the controls back, but after that, all was right in the world. BTW, Are you world-renowned armor modeler Shep Payne? (I hope thats right...) -
Also, Did later large-bore tanks like the Patton or M60 have this 2 part round?
-
Hmm... kind of like battleship guns that had 2 powder bags and the projectile?
