  1. Ok, so the fact that all my Italian soldiers have routed and my Romanian ones are holding fast is becasue of my command ability and not an inherent disposition of the Italians to run like hell.
  2. Other then the difference between equipment, squad sizes, etc.; is there an inherent difference between nationalities? For example do troops from one nation break sooner then another. Or perhaps one can march further or faster? Or maybe they are better shots or better gun crews?
  3. More importantly CMBB got Runner Up for PC game of the month (October) by Gamespot. Probably the reason it has recived so much traffic. Anyway, congrats Charles Moylan and Steve Grammont!
  4. Looks like Strategy First has a Combat Mission clone in the works. It's being developed by Freedom Games which they claim are the developers of the first Close Combat. I thought it was Atomic Games. Anyone know or have an original Combat Mission box? G.I. Combat Either way though I refuse to buy any more Strategy First products after WWII Online(need I say more) and the unstableness of Europa Universalis. Both great games pushed out prematurly by a ****ty publisher. Shame 'cause the games graphics look great. Though it looks like you command indivdual soldiers whihc means recreating a battalion level battle a real chore!
  5. Well I don't run CMMOS on 2000, however it seems odd that it's looking for the log file within the executable. Take a look at the log file in your CMMOS directory and at the top it has the installation directories for CMBO and CMMOS. Below is what I have. CMMOS install folder is C:\Program Files\CMBO\CM Mod Option Selector\ CM:BO install folder is C:\Program Files\CMBO\ I had problems with the previous version when I installed CMMOS on a secondary partition, is it installed on your c drive?
  6. Thanks Pvt. Ryan, how do you make a backup though? I used blindread/write software but to no avial.
  7. Does anyone know if Battle Front/BTS exchange broken disks for a new replacment one? Apparenlty I have been using the disk a great deal since I bought it six months ago and now it has a crack running from the centre to half way out to the edge I noticed the crack about three days ago and I tried making a backup but because of the software protection it does not work. I am in the middle of two PBEM battles and now I won't be able to finish them!
