  1. I'm using 3.x, after having started with 2.x a few months ago. I find it great, and am looking forward to various terrain mods to round it out. I've manually installed Magua's Normandy terrain to compliment his CMMOS buildings, but all vehicles except the Tiger are CMMOS. Regards, and thnks for getting all those mod authors' great stuff together with this!
  2. I'm using the Canadian uniform mods from Michael's site and they worked fine with CMMOS 3 and the Bloody Buron2 scn. I look forward to the Brit CMMOS mods, but Andrew's Action Pack blanco mods are installed manually while I battle through the monstrous Crown of Thorns. Hill 122 by Tim Saunders (the Battleground Europe series)is at my side. These books kick, and they just came out with 2 Arnhem ones. Guess where the next battle will be? You guys are doing some fine stuff! Regards
  3. Hi, I already go through the mildly tedious task of having my CMBO scenarios sorted by month by renaming each scenario and campaign so it is prefixed with 01 to 12 for June 44 to May 45 respectively. I also add an "a" for stock scenarios and a "u" for user defined. Joe Blow's "Mayhem in the Bocage" could be 02u-Mayhem in the Bocage.cmb. A pain, but it certainly adds to my enjoyment. I agree though, it would be nice to see this as a feature in CMBB. Regards
  4. Hi, Check out the thread about the CMMOS 901 ruleset and follow the link provided. Regards
  5. Thanks once again Pascal. So now the I also have the Panthers and MkIVs, the big question is how do I get to the other 3 mods shown on your "ad" screen. Regards
  6. Thanks Pascal, I went and got these too, since I'm all for going CMMOS all the way. Might be a silly question, but where would I find the ruleset 901 for these halftracks? Help appreciated. Regards
  7. Ligur, Just a guess, but did you put all that new, wonderful CMMOS stuff in a clean install, or did you already have some of the original files overwritten from other mods? I keep a clean copy of the bmp directory, with only a few special effects, menu interfaces, or portaits overwritten, so I can copy it back over when other CMMOS mods are available, such as terrain effects, fireflys, tigers etc. This allows me to use non-CMMOS mods to fill in the gaps. Just a guessas to what the problem might be! Many thanks to all who made CMMOS 3 happen, and to all the modders whose great work is appreciated! Regards
  8. Thanks for putting those mods back on, Pascal! About 8 minutes for me too. I've thanked Clubfoot already, but many thanks to all the great modders whose originals make this such a fine mod pack. Now let's see one of those modded PZ IVs brew! Regards
  9. That's understandable - space is always at a premium. I'll try again later if you have a chance to put the ole PZ IV back, but I'm sure the mod will turn up somewhere eventually in any case, so no need to put yourself out. Thanks! Regards
  10. Well, the link for the CMMOS Panther mod works, but this is what I get for the Mk IV, te day after: La page demandée est inconnue du serveur des Pages Perso Wanadoo. Veuillez vérifier l'URL que vous avez demandée. It means something like I'm S.O.L. with the link, so in the meantime I'd be greatful if anyone knows any other locations. I look forward to seeing this mod in my battle. Regards
  11. Hmmm, all the links on the Combat Missions link at CM HQ work, except for the CMMOS Panther/Panzer IV one. Last week I was able to get the Panther mod from Combat Missions. I'll check again later to try and eliminate the possibility of me having a brain fart-or the old "last beer before Monday" syndrome. Regards
  12. I've been trying to pick up this mod by Clubfoot. At the old Combat Missions site the link was dead, and at the new link from CM HQ it is still dead. Would anyone know of another place that I can pick this up? Much appreciated. Regards
  13. Sure enough, I was running 1.05. Having reinstalled CM after a clean install of XP, I'd forgotten about the newer patch I was running previously. And to think how anxiously I awaited that patch! I just installed 1.12 and of course can now see those great, extra scenarios. Glad I took a sanity check over here. DOH!! Thanks Rune
  14. I'm using XP and I'm convinced this fellow hasn't had too many cups of coffee! I rename my scenarios by prefacing them with numbers so I can get them appearing in chronological order. I typically pull them up in the scenario editor to find the dates. The built in one's are fine but the scenario editor couldn't pull some of them up eg, Grief of the Guards, The fiery French donloaded from Wild Bill's site. I got a strange message about a later version or something. I thought "what the hell" I'll just pop them in the directory so that I can at least play them, but lo and behold, they don't appear on the scenario menu either. This is weird, and otherwise CM runs beautifully in XP. The NVidia /white background issue Win2k too)is minor and easily worked around, but this ... Oh my god!! How can I ever play CM with this happening
  15. I think the main difference is when saying "colour" the sound is conveyed via the mouth, whereas the sound of "color" is emitted through the nose. Of course, to be PC, and in the true spirit of being a good neighbour, I might add that some of my best friends talk like that. It don't get on my wick at all. Regards
