  1. Dave, lol, haha, this is funny. Im not laughing at you im laughing at the fact that this is how it works. You pretty much sound exactly how i did and most others when they first tried cm. CM's first play experience is filled with "Whats that mean?". Just stick to it and you'll be hugely rewarded. Its like finding a gem or a nugget of gold. It may be covered in mud or look like just another rock. But once you clean it off and discover what it really is, you'll be rich(utterly hooked). P.S. The manual is large and extremely helpfull. Combine that with the F.A.Q here and your set.

  3. I do recall a thread about this a long time ago about cmbo. As was determined no mortars or guns get a firepower(lighting bolt) bonus from the HQ thats in command of them. The command(star) bonus increases the ROF of the guns and mortars, i think. Also, though im sure everyone knows about this, the command bonus makes the arty delay times shorter.

  9. Wow, as usual Eds mod is great. I swear, when it comes to structure/building mods, Ed and Juju are the best. Been a fan of your mods for quite some time. Thanks for making both cm games look much better.
  10. Just delete the cmbb prefs file in your cmbb directory. Next time you boot up the game it will ask what rez you want.

  12. Haha zim, that pink KV-2 is funny. Well since this is a mod plea thread. Here is a pic of a cmbo mod that is probably my all time favorite mod. Anyway we can get a cmbb version of this beauty?
  13. Judging by your screenshots here those tanks are targeting that infantry squad and not the building. Sometimes area target orders are cancelled due to the tacAI deciding that there are more important targets. Sometimes not a good a thing. Also, always check the exposure percentage when targeting infantry, unfortunately buildings don't have a exposure percentage. Ive accidently targeted infantry with 0% exposure and my HE shells either flew over them or fell way short. Hope this helps.

  15. Ahh i see, thanks Mike. Wasn't aware of that. EDIT: Although, as of right now, im on v1.02 and if you take bmp 13601 from his mod it will overwrite the top down view from the romanian tank. While the Sdkfz 250/1 will be missing its top down view. Shouldn't the bmp number be fixed now that they don't share it or at least make a note of it in the readme.   16. Hey Canon, there is a bmp number mistake in your "Dusty Sdkfz 250/1(grey)" mod that was released back in Dec. The bmp 13601 is of the (top down view)Romanian PSW 222 and is not of the(top down view) Sdkfz 250/1. It is not a bug. Simply put, bmp 13601 needs to be changed to 13661. Sorry if this had been pointed out before. Im assuming it hasn't since i couldn't find a patched version of this mod. Anyways, your mods still kick ass. Keep up the great work.

  20. This is exactly why i don't buy pillboxes in defense anymore like i did in cmbo. Although im figuring that it is realistic. Imagine after the sighting shots by the small caliber shells start flying into the firing slits bouncing around in there. Maybe take a few casualities or not, but id sure as hell abandoned it.

  22. Hehe, i do the same damn thing. Got 15 acres out in the country and ive scoped out every inch. I think to myself "ok, now, mg42 position right here will have great field of fire, supporting infantry on right and left flank, 75mm AT gun over there in woods, ok, everybody hide for ambush, rgr that." How bout this, just yesterday i was working on the shed and a plane flew over, i immediatly stopped and was thinking what would be a good position for a flak gun. Thank god im not the only one.
