  1. Is there any connection between this header and that past reference to embarassing barrel droop Madmatt? (or should that be emBareAssed) [This message has been edited by Craig (edited 01-07-2000).]
  2. Testing... love these new toys [This message has been edited by Craig (edited 01-04-2000).]
  3. Umm, just in case I happen to say one of the three phrases sometime, I really live in, uhh, mmm, err, ahh, Toronto. Yea, that's it, I now live in Toronto!! Craig ps. Great story. The only bouncers I have ever seen around here are just bullies with matching T-Shirts. Of course the biggest city here (150,000) would be classed as a small town in the U.S. Then again, we only have about a million in the whole province.
  4. Well, I was impressed with the site when you were happy, and you seem to do even better when you're mean, so I think we should maybe try cutting your rations back and see what new goodies we get when you're hungry hehe. Craig (from where the mosquitoes are so big they can stand flat-foot and rape a turkey) ps. I hope you were just a little more nasty when you were a bouncer
  5. ROFL guys. Is there a FAQ on taunting here somewhere? Maybe we should have a ladder for this sort of thing. Right now I'm ranking MrPeng #1, and Elvis and SS are tied for second. (although the entrails line pushes Elvis a little closer to the top hehe) Craig (remember, if life was easy, everyone would be doing it)
  6. I hope you're kidding about the temp there Lokesa, I'm going down to Palm Springs (gotta love those airmiles) in January, and I don't know if I'll be able to adapt to the heat hehe. Steve, the coldest I've ever camped in was -41. There was a little (big?) problem with the forecast, and a suprise cold snap hit us (with a wind of course), then the water freezing suddenly becomes the least of your worries (urine freezing does ). Craig (not believing the weatherman anymore) As an aside, you guys that live in warm areas are missing out on sitting (outside) in a hot tub set at 102F when it is colder than -25. No kidding, it is the greatest way to relax in the world.
  7. Woohoo, thanks Madmatt!! I guess I had better apologise about airing the dirty laundry again... gets down on knees looks up with pleading eyes whines, snivels and grovels for forgiveness Oops, that's what I did for wife my last night (Xmas boozefest). Oh well, might as well try it again here. Craig (living in doghouse) [This message has been edited by Craig (edited 12-21-99).]
  8. Quote: who once got Keith Z to seriously consider hiring a hitman ROFL, but I don't think you need to worry, as he probably doesn't go after 3rd graders anymore. (Usenet thread) Craig (just because you're paraniod, it doesn't mean there isn't someone trying to kill you) dammit, how do you guys make that quote thingamabob work anyway? [This message has been edited by Craig (edited 12-21-99).]
  9. Hey, Mr. Barrel Droop, why did Doug get flamewar on the same day he ordered, and all I got was some lame excuse about not having matching heels? Shirley err certainly you could just crop the picture if they didn't match your ensemble hehe. Craig (patiently waiting) ps. Where are the !!!!? I didn't think you wrote this when I first saw it.
  10. Look for the thread titled "General Update on Progress". It was posted within the last 5 days and Steve gave an update there. Craig
  11. Welcome to where I live, We just had a blizzard with 80km winds, then -28C, and it it going to be +2C on Xmas day. Nice thing about the weather here is, if you don't like it, just wait an hour, it'll change. Craig (is it time to start Xmas shopping yet?)
  12. Aww c'mon, I really like option 2 or 3 myself (two especially). Unfortunately anyone waiting for intellectual satisfaction from me is going to be waiting for a looong time hehe. Craig ps. Did anyone find out anything more on the Badger?
  13. Heh, I actually downloaded the CC4 demo (big mistake - crap) and I think it took almost 7 hours. Hmm, come to think of it, that could be another reason why my bill is that big. Could also be why the wife was so grumpy then (phone withdrawl) Craig (staying off the coffee) [This message has been edited by Craig (edited 12-20-99).]
  14. Doug, I had the same problem until I reformatted and reinstalled Win98, now it is fine. The only thing I could think of was that I did play around in the mixer thingy once and might have screwed something up. Craig (slow connection) Harvey
  15. Looking at the amount of crap I put up here yesterday, (love those caffine highs)I think maybe the abuse of this board (by me) should be stopped. In the interest of not having people be forced to wade through my waste of bandwidth, thinking I might have something actually useful to say about CM, I feel that BTS should exercise one of these options: 1)Ban me from the board. (bad for me, good for everyone else) 2)Make me a tester so I have something useful to do. (good for me, not so good for everyone else) 3)Fire off a new scenario to shut me up. (great for me, even greater for everyone else) So I will leave this in the capable hands of BTS, and hope that in their wisdom, they will do the right thing. Craig (looking for a purpose in life)
  16. Naa, the exclamation points are fine. Seemed like a good reply to Fionn's surgeon query. I thought I was the one who used too many parenthasis (as you might have noticed). I also think it is time to resurrect the Church of New Scenarios, if you can spare the time from shopping for heels hehe. Craig (finally trying PBEM)
  17. Umm, I suppose becoming a tester for CM is out of the question. How about a new scenario? Naa, not your department. A picture of you in one of your new dresses? Let's see, more screenshots? Hmm, got (or getting)them already. I might have to sell this honor to someone who can actually think under pressure. Give me a little time to think of something good, suggestions from others welcome. Craig (stumped, for the moment)
  18. There, had to plow some snow, now I can elaborate a little on my posts. I'll tell you a few secrets about me: 1) I tend to run off at the mouth 2) I like to poke a little (lot of?) fun at where I live 3) I have a very poor and warped sense of humor (Fionn can attest to this, I think), and it is usually in bad taste 4) In a different post, I was kidding about the sheep (there aren't any within 100 miles - too far to drive ) ROFL about the soot Doug, and don't worry about being impolite, as I have very little respect for where I live. This town is the only one I know of in the world that sends its sewage upstream of where it draws its drinking water from. (but we do have a lovely water treatment plant) Zulu, I think I curled in Climax way back in high school, or am I being a little premature here? Thomas, just quit snowing about noon here, and yes I'm sure we Canucks will rule the CM world when it comes out, eh!! Craig (currently filtering his water) ps Fionn, I never did get a reply via e-mail, no matter if you didn't send one, just checking. (still having serever probs here)
  19. I live on a farm close to Rosetown, in the west central part of Saskatchewan, Canada. I'm guessing about 600 miles north of Great Falls, Montana, as I don't have a map handy. Craig
  20. Great ideas all, I'll try them (and pray). As far a a faster connection goes, I'm screwed. My current record for download speed is 3.5Kb/sec. We might get cable modems in 2025 if we're lucky. (no cable at all on the farm, satellite downloads might start in 2000 - waaay behind the US in this area) Craig (snowed in and hating it)
  21. Nothing wrong with surgeons per se, just the thought of Madmatt working on any part of my anatomy. I can't imagine the talk around the operating table if he were there. Might try to use exclamation marks as scalpels hehe. Craig (still learning how seduce sheep) ps. Madmatt is the manager of a comedy troupe of transvestite hairy christmas that hang out on supertankers with mob connections when he is not running after cabs, right? Aha, just thought of it... Madmatt was a bouncer!! Maybe. [This message has been edited by Craig (edited 12-19-99).]
  22. OK Madmatt, let me take a crack at this. Of course you should have made it multiple choice so tell me if I'm warm or cold... 1)Pro demolition derby driver. 2)Evil marathon runner - one of those guys who pushes other runners into the crowd. 3)Mob informant - hey the only clue is 'run' 4)Hairy Krishna at airport. 5)Pilot (gawd I hope not) 6)Supertanker Captain (can you tell I'm graping at straws here) 7)Reformed transvestite (oh, you said former, sorry) 8)Surgeon (shudder) 9)NYC taxi driver 10)Comedy club manager Craig (broadcasting from the middle of a blizzard)
  23. Well ,I have never tried PBEM, still not sure if I want to (realy big ego probs here), but if someone wants to send me a file (any scen., any side) I'll try not to screw up too bad. c.harvey@sk.sympatico.ca Craig (is it bad if your family tree doesn't have any branches? - welcome to Bunghole, SK) [This message has been edited by Craig (edited 12-19-99).]
  24. I get that 45 sec delay about 1/3 of the time. A semi-related question, if we group move a column of vehicles in the final, how will we keep them out of a huge traffic jam if their delay times don't match up? Craig (wishing he lived somewhere else)
  25. And loving it. Just checked my phone bill online for year end planning, and discovered an extra $40+ charge for internet access. Up here in Buttcrack, SK, we pay extra for time on the net, and I seem to have spent many, many hours reading posts about CM. Don't get me wrong, this is the best money I have ever spent, but I am deathly afraid of what my wife (financial manager) is going to do when the bill comes in the mail. Any suggestions? Craig (the only wargamer within 800 klicks of Enematown)
