Does it appear to freeze? If so, that's not crashing, that's turn processing. Try walking away from the computer for an hour and coming back to check the progress bar. It works

You have a fair point - I'm running a GEForce DDR (original) on an 850 Athlon with 512MB of RAM. My next shopping trip will be for a newer video card so I'll see if that improves matters. I'm finding that battles over 2000 points get choppy when I'm playing them with full graphics, which is a shame, and anything over 4000 points I have to turn the trees off, which is sucky.

I think it's pretty unlikely that any further models would be included in the game, although I can see the merits of including the T-28. What about if the MG turrets were fixed with a front arc only, the same as the bow MG on most tanks? That might be an acceptable workaround - although if (as is being muttered) the Mediterranean theatre is to be done next we may well see multi-turreted tanks in that.

Possibly, but if we all give CM:BB a bump as high as we can, it may make a difference to the final score.

You're correct about conscript units not being able to 'cover arc'. Infantry will fire when on the run but the effectiveness and volume of that fire is very limited.

Maybe you could have a megabyte limit rather than a download speed limit, because a freebie user with a 56k modem could still download all they wanted on a download speed limit.
