  1. good to hear! BF got caught "with its pants down" when you released CMSF - I certainly did not want that to happen to CMN!
  2. The first movie really sucked for me! complete ripoff of one of my favorite films - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It!_The_Terror_from_Beyond_Space
  3. I WANT MY AMERICA BACK! I WANT MY AMERICA BACK! I WANT MY AMERICA BACK! OH SAY CAN YOU SEE, BY THE DAWN'S EARLY LIGHT GOD BLESS AMERICA!! oh...wait a minute...I can't disrupt this text like I do at the townhall meetings! curse you internet!!!
  4. haha What a wuss! Yeah, way to show of your manly manhood manliness manning by being a 75kg human chasing down and killing a 0.005kg insect trying to make a living in this world!! LOL
  5. OK, i will keep my eye open for Steel Fury! I read some reviews and player comments on WBT and it does not appear to be a very good game. The game has a lot of bugs, multiplayer and LAN are said to be broken, there is almost no interest in this game 1 year after the release. such a shame...
  6. Title says it all. GoGamer has this game on sale for $20USD until midnight EST. This game seems to have a low score of around 7.0/10 from critics and fans.
  7. Bah! You got it wrong! It goes, "Refresh powers ACTIVATED!!"
  8. bah, I'm too busy making tons of money to read all 5 posts!
  9. Mr. Winecape started a nice synopsis thread on CMN, here: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=87188
  10. punt! sticky please? or even better a new CMN forum!
  11. excellent find! I see that this tank appears to be a partially opentopped vehicle.
  12. It will probably be the really kewl waffen SS troops in next screenshot!
  13. punt! My friend and I used to play coop (two players as same civilization) on the RTS game Age of Empires II against AI and/or humans around 10 years ago. It was quite fun and made the game much easier for our civ. This method of play allowed us to beat much better human players due to reducing the twitch level needed to fight battles, move units, collect resources. very fun indeed!
  14. This is a picture of from the Atlanta Model Expo June 2009 (the person hosting the pic attending the event and did not make the model/diorama) The model appears to be a Panzer IV tank (Bulgarian according to the stand) but has a gun that looks like the main armament on a Russian SU-76. Was this a "one off" vehicle (field conversion)? limited production/conversion? something created by the model builder?
  15. no problems from Gamersgate billing here (fwiw I have never preordered a game from GG) btw...just noticed the Gamersgate CMSF sale is over! price is back up to $10USD. Still cheaper than the $35.00USD at this store.
  16. CMSF has two modules in two years which is not bad imho. another call for this thread to be a sticky!
  17. congrats to BFC on the release of the brits! Let's see some opinions of the module ASAP!
  18. NP, I don't see you as a fanboy! And I am really glad you like CMSF! However, many gamers were surprised at how buggy CMSF was upon release and are not quite as enthusiastic about this title as you. I would not call them moaners the same as I would not call you a fanboy.
  19. Right on! a fair game after a few patches. I pray CMN will not have so many problems when it is released!
  20. "We intend to release CMx2 for the Macintosh as soon as we are able to." -Steve 2008 There is also a very old thread here (2007-2008) that may have some info... http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=75854 What about the bootcamp(?) for Macs to run Windows version of CMSF? is it any good? Good luck (i'm also interested in a Mac version of CM Normandy)!
  21. Yeah, that is a distinct possiblity. I think this is what happened when BF was "caught with its pants down" and had to release CMSF a bit early (assuming this initial release disaster was not intentional) and in a buggy state.
  22. hopefully, this low price on CMSF will drag in folks to also buy CM Normandy when it is released this year!
  23. FWIW...the other day I noticed the director of our microscope facility using a computer that was "glowing" from internal lights. I took a closer look at his rig and noticed that it is an ibuypower computer. He said it is an excellent gaming rig and that he is using one at the lab for intense graphical computations/presentations.
  24. Yeah, and $4.99 is even better! Gift a copy of CMSF to a friend!!!
