Look, the US didn't save the Russia with land-lease. US help was just a drop in the ocean, it was the russians who gave enormous part in materiel (not mentioning men). I just hate when people think that US (who hesitated to join the war (you all know the pacifist movement)) helped all around the world to win the war. It just wasn't like that you know. That was fast! There was just one spotter dead on the battlefield and it was 120mm one. It was 1000 point ME and he bought that spotter as Veteran, so considering the other available points (combined arms), he couldn't buy anymore spotters.

In today's quickbattle I've found the computer cheating. I was British and AI was German. During the battle AI bombarded my mortar and mg positions and after that he smoked my tank and halftrack on overlooking hill. But when the battle ended, I discovered that it had only 120mm mortar spotter (which we all know can't smoke). There was none of his onboard mortars and also none of armour assets (they were killed many turns before the smoking began). So there is the only possibility that his 120mm mortar fired smoke shells. Why can't I do that? I have an autosave file, where you can check his forces, but unfortunatelly not the one when smoke was on battlefield so you must believe my word on the smoke part.

And there was also one man worth to mention, a German tank ace (but Slovene origin, judging by his name) Hugo Primozic with over 60 kills. He should better join Slovenian Partisan forces, traitor! I use Anisotropic filter (I have GeForce 2 MX400)from the time I discovered it. It improves the quality of the picture dramatically (see screenshots) without any loss of framerate (maybe just for 1 or two frames per second, but that's practically nothing. AntiAliasing (AA) improves the quality for the tremendous cost of framerates (AA x2 means practically that you'll have half the framerate comparing with "AA off"). You don't really need integrals for calculating flight of the projectile for practical purposes. At least that's how they taught as at the university. I can't pull the equation out of my head right now but in that equation all the forces are considered except air resistance.

You must read between the lines. Kwazy said that they are EXTREMLY busy and they don't have time to post screenshoots. If they would, they might not have enough time to put a vehicle in the game. What does that mean? They say "it will be released when it's done", but that's not completely true. If that was true, they could put some new screenshoots and delay game for 2 days more. But they don't have time. They have one specific date (which I of course don't know) in their mind and that's why time constrains them! If they had 4 months more left to release the game, there would be now more than enough time to post 3 new screenshots (it wouldn't make any real difference in schedule). But if they have only a few weeks left till release, they're in a hurry (believe me, I worked in projects, and everybody knows that: closer you are to finish it, harder you work). So logically... It will be soon and they don't really work anymore under the slogan "when it's done". Now the date is firm - but unfortunately we don't know it. Yet!

Yes, and it will also model Sergei, crying because he had to sacrifice his "Ruski Samoyed" dog for carrying antitank mines. For 6 points you could buy Sergei and put it in a light house somewhere near the first frontlines and you could use it as observer. But of yourse, don't buy Conscript Sergei, because he will more cry than look for Germans!

Anyone have idea what really "computer experience bonus" does? I play with setting +3, but I can't see any real difference between setting 0.

I downloaded (after having serious trouble with computer and deleting everything) MadMatt's sound files from Mad-Dog Mod Pack no.1 (MDMP-1), but I get CRC errors when trying to extract them from zip archive. However, I managed to get almost all files out of that damned zipped archive except these files: 00000446.wav 00000450.wav 00000605.wav 00000801.wav Could anybody send me those four wavs, so I can again enjoy in game? peruano@email.si

IIRC, MadMatt said that setup interface will be renewed so we can see specifications of each vehicle before we buy it (something like now when you press "enter" in the battle will be displayed in force selection screen).

In that game computer surrendered, but it's really strange that there was only one AT-gun on the field, so it's not possible to have two kills. Hmm?
