  1. Well at least there was no routed dog this time!
  2. Michael, I finally played it against the computer, very fun with an action packed ending, nice and quick too, only 15 turns. Got any more? Pvt.Tom
  3. Hee Hee Hee ... look at me I am a Peng Thread virgin na na na na Pvt.Tom I am making a big mistake coming in here aren't I. [This message has been edited by Pvt.Tom (edited 01-31-2001).]
  4. Routed dog, whats this world comming to? This must be stoped!!!!!
  5. Welll my HQ unit is running for it's life towards the woods in the back corner of the map, when does the calvery arrive? I am praying for a little air power. One problem I had was the MG crews were only 2 men I think? It didn't take long for 1 man to be killed and the gun immobilized, after that they were dead meat. I did manage to kill the Hetzer in the first turn and immobilize a Tiger in the second. I will see how many of the files I saved and let you know. Tom
  6. How many countries use radar to detect tanks? You can see them and hear them from miles away how important is the invisible to radar thing?
  7. Well I just finished Wild Bill's version, played as PBEM Game, I was Axis and I did win but it took a while (maybe 10 turns), now we are playing Michael's version, I am the Americans and I am getting my ass kicked, turn 4 or 5 and I am down to 3 men in the HQ unit and everone else dead, this is one hard scenario against a person, I hope reinforcements come soon. I would say Bill's is probably better for PBEM and Michaels is better for 1 player.
  8. Hey Manx, thanks again for posting the pictures, your the best man, snif snif.
  9. I wouldn't put too much weight on how many games the ladder shows a person as having played, I think a lot of people don't report a fair number of the games they play, I probably only report 1/3 of my games, plus the games I have played are spread out over 3 ladders. Just a thought.
  10. Most people don't know the difference, maybe it was not the same back then but today most people call anything with 4 wheel drive a Jeep, average GI Joe probably didn't know any better or care. (I keep telling my wife it is a Toyota FJ-40, not a Jeep, now stop calling it that ...$#%^$#) oh sorry got a little of topic but I can relate.
  11. That's what I said in the "CM graphics suck" post, but everyone seemed to be having a good time debating so I figured I'd shut up. Gives people something to talk about I guess.
  12. I was wondering, does anyone know if the US Military looked into German experiences with the Puma ect in WWII when they were deciding on the LAV? Probably a good source of info on 8 wheel vehicles in combat.
  13. Uh, why is this thread still on the first page(of the forum), would everyone please stop posting to this so it will go away. Thank you for your support. Pvt.Tom [This message has been edited by Pvt.Tom (edited 01-28-2001).]

  17. Sinpoet, That's cool, I lived in Hanover for 2 years before I moved back to the Philly area, every once in a blue moon we would take our motorcycles and do the loop up in York, yipee. Sure is a small world.
  18. If you have a scanner you can make your own wallpaper, if not go get one, I got mine for $30.00 with $100.00 mail in rebate.
  19. I'm outside Philly, Chalfont to be exact, a little under 2 hours from Harrisburg so I don't know how much help I can be, but what the hell, I think there are a couple of people from PA on the Forum, I don't know if they are near "The Capital" or not. Pvt.Tom
  20. Hee Hee Hee, they are going to let people tour the authentic WWII Barracks at the Gap, that is a hoot, all the crappy nights I spent in those beat up buildings it never occured to me that anyone would want to go in there of their own free will. Just kidding, it actually looks cool, sory I am going to miss it. Pvt.Tom
  21. Damn, I didn't know about that, is this a one time thing? How did you hear about it?
  22. Anyone know how many rounds are carried for the naversomethingwaffe? Is it unlimited?
  23. Great AAR, I would love to read more if you have any.
  24. It's going to sound lame but the answer is Bad Luck.
  25. Hee, Hee, Hee, my kind of post. Thanks for the laugh. Before everyone attacks I am sure dalem was not trying to make fun of anyone and is not trying to discourage anyone from posting useful suggestions. This is all for fun. Pvt.Tom
