Hehehehe......zero is fast yes. In Panzer Elite..changing shells takes at least 5 seconds. What is the realistic time and is CM 2 using that maybe ? -

Also, when the Panzer IV had a "lock" on let say an infantery unit, he would have to load a AP shell first.( HE shell out..AP in ) I make this mistakes sometimes by giving a friendly tank a "soft" target while there is a enemy tank nearby. Cost several seconds -> knocked out Panzer [This message has been edited by Monty (edited 03-10-2001).] [This message has been edited by Monty (edited 03-10-2001).] -

Best Mod for R/G Color Blind?
Monty replied to Hakko Ichiu's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Hi all I am an Optometrist, working in a local Hospital. 7 % of all men have a colour disorder. There are 3 sorts of colour disorders: - Red - Green - Blue Red/green is indeed the most common colour disorder, blue is very rare. There are 3 degrees of colour disorders: - First degree ( mild ) - Second degree ( medium ) - Third degree ( strong ) So, not everybody with a colour disorder has the same problem. Real colour BLINDNESS is also very rare. Monty aka Moose -
For CM 2, i think the... HORSE would be great to have The Germans used MANY horses for transport,i did not saw a single animal in CM 1. Monty aka Moose

Scenario "Saving private Ryan" available ??
Monty replied to Monty's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
IDF, sure its a Hollywood Movie, but it give a very nice squad level view of how it could have been in WW II. Indeed, when there is a movie of WW II,there are ALWAYS tigertanks I think the German tanks would have wait before the town in real life, tanks were to rare to risk in a town fight right ? The 20 mm gun proved my idea that a Whirlwind is VERY lethal for infantery. -
Scenario "Saving private Ryan" available ??
Monty replied to Monty's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Thanks for the replies guys ! The "Radar station" scene is not easy to simulate i think, because we cant give orders to seperate man and the halfsquad will run as a group , making a better target for the machinegun right? How can a halfsquad win in such a case ? I am at the moment busy with the "Augen Zu" scenario. -
