Actually, it could easily depress the gun and he took out 1 Sherman, a half-track and some infantery at about 800 meters. Is this gun depression "bug?" also in CMBB ??

Edit: Ooppps, wrong title, must be 30.82 drivers hehe I updated to Geforce 4 Ti 4400 and downloaded the 30.82 drivers. I read it gives no troubles with Antialiasing but when i start CMBO with AA at 2x ( or CMBB demo, still waiting for the full game) i see a black screen but can hear the music. When i go back to desktop with escape and then back to the game i have the mainscreen. I can play offline versus the AI BUT........i cant play pbem files !! When i load a pbem file and make my moves and hit the GO button, the game freezes ! Needs a hard reboot.......... With AA disables NO problems !! Is this a known fact and what are the best drivers for the Geforce 4 Ti 4400 ? Edit: Yes, i have uninstalled my old drivers first and installed the Standard VGA drivers before installing the Nividia drivers. I found the problem now. When i disable Anti Aliasing, i can start the game ok, no problems then. With AA on, problem back. But i thought the 30.82 had no AA problems ??? Any suggestion for a better driver please !?

I used an image of my C drive ( 2 weeks old ) and installed the 30.82 drivers again. CMBO and CMBB started ok again and i could play my pbem turn ! But after 1 hour the problem was back !!! I have updated my video card from a Geforce 2 GTS to a Geforce 4 Ti 4400. I use the Nividia 30.82 drivers ( Win98SE) Yesterday i have played CMBO ( versus AI ) with no problems. Now the strange part: Today i changed my swap file to a fixed swap file. After that i wanted to play CMBO but when i start i hear the tune but see a black screen. I can go back to desktop with escape and then back into the game and i have the mainscreen. Playing versus AI is ok, but when i load a PBEM file, and make my moves and hit the GO button, the game freezes ! Hard reboot is needed. Black screen after start same with the CMBB demo. I can play the game by going back to desktop en bakc into game. But now i cant play pbem battles , HELP ! I changed my swapfile back to window management but same story. Any help greatly appreciated.

CombinedArms, you was RIGHT !! SPOILER ALERT # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # The scenario i played was Last Stand Dalsenburg. I lost all my Pershings and a few Sherms quickly to hidden German AFV's. This is a VERY hard battle for Allied side due to the wet ground i did not dare to cross the open grounds. I have no idea how i could win this scenario :confused: :confused:

Roger that....... Well, the green squad was back to "normal" pretty quick again and is now walking ( The Pershing killed a Stuh meanwhile hehe ) This is the second time i have the Pershing ( 3x!!) in a scenario i think, what a monster ! )

Hi Erik I have only green infantery in this scenario. The Pershing gives a BIG BOOMMMM when he fire, maybe thats why the inf on the Pershing did panic and the inf on the Sherm not ? Never had green infantery on a Pershing before

In the scenario i am playing, i have (green) infantery embarked on AFV's The scout vehicle spots a Panzerschreck team who is firing at a Pershing who follow the scout at about 150 meters. The Pershing and a Sherm is opening up on the schreck. The embarked infantery on the Sherm are not alarmed at all ,but the embarked grunts on the Pershing are routed , the instant he fires !! I looked to the movie a few times at level 1 and 2, but i did not hear any incoming fire, no tracers also. Is this a known fact ? If not, it must be some kind of incoming fire anyway i think..... Here is my question guys: I sometimes see AFV's have LOS on an enemy vehicle, but the red target line goes THROUGH the edge of 1 or even 2 buildings ! Like here: When i check with level 1 vision, i can NOT see the enemy target. The buildings block los 100 %. Im shure this topic was discussed before, but can somebody give me some info about it please ?? Monty aka Moose
