The commander is behind the scouts offcourse and wont see the enemy units at first. Scouts can panick and report wrong enemy units. Monty

About the sound : If you identify the tank by the sound, its like the commander overrules the ID of the scouts and say : "A T-34/76 ?? You maggot !! I clearly hear a T34/85 !! Ok, that is one week latrine duty for you ..." Monty

The CMBO manual ONLY talks about bogging in terrain like mud and snow and not about breaking down. Maybe an extra Status icon ( Malfunction or Broken down ) can be added in next CM engine ? Monty aka Mossie

I installed 44.03 too and can play CMBB A-ok with AA at 0 or 4x with my GF4 Ti4400 AA at 2x dont work as usual. Benchmark give me 440 points extra with 3dMark2001 Monty aka Mossie

Do a benchmark before every upgrade i suggest. Benchmark now. Try re-installing Direct X drivers. Benchmark again. Try different vid drivers. Benchmark again. Etc etc... btw how is the new vid card performing with BF 1942 ??? Goodluck ! Monty aka Mossie

Artillery have less suppression when there is snow. The smaller the caliber, the larger is the dampening effect of the snow AFAIK. Montya ak Mossie

btw, i just knocked out a Stug with tools worth only a few roubels: - A few soldiers made the TC button up - Then,an ampulomet, an anti-tank rifle and a mortar attacked the AFV and caused a gun hit en partial top armor penetration.
