  1. He was a good one. Lots of wonderful memories of him and his contributions to CM and other games. God bless, keep, and comfort his family.
  2. No time for the last one and probably no time for this one, but wanted to get at least one in: Chattanooga Choo Choo - Glenn Miller D'oh, no trees or hedges visible, oh well...
  3. I hope it brings in a mint of new sales, but I have no intention of changing how I purchase, install, and play CM.
  4. Hmm, it did Die Kunst fine for me. Not sure what happened there.
  5. What it doesn't work for is CMSF1 campaigns, which it what I was trying to unpack in my posts above without realizing it wasn't SF2.
  6. That and why Jedi don't just use the force to turn their opponents light saber off.
  7. Couldn't agree more. Go slow and recon, recon, recon.
  8. Absolutely, it's all good. I'm just having fun with it too.
  9. Since my Otter on the Volturno was, quite rightly, stricken (can't believe I didn't snap to that river name being in Italy...), here is an Otter Mark I the day after liberation of May-sur-Orne
  10. There are feral greyhounds in the wild, unfortunately, as race dogs are often dumped. More importantly, Wolverine was NOT the nickname for the M10 until it was made up after the war. The bureau never gave it a name during WW2, it was just the M10 Tank Destroyer.
  11. I will have to take exception to your ruling on Pic 3. Marder is most definitely Marten in German. A european pine marten is a wild animal:
  12. M8 Greyhound at St. Sever Calvados August 3, 1944, during Operation Cobra Firefly in Normandy August 20, 1944 Marder (Marten) IIIH in Carentan June 1944 Hummel (Bumblebee) in Normandy
  13. Not liking this random change to the look and feel. Even shorter editing time is also not welcome...
  14. Don't know why my Dingo leading Tigers picture ran away, but: An Otter crossing a Bailey bridge (connecting two streets) over the Volturno in October 43: and an M22 Locust (on a street) in Operation Varsity, April 45:
  15. I can definitely draw conclusions. I've been on there a long time and I see the same group always ready to jump into any CM post with their typical unwashed and uninformed opinions. There are definitely a ton of randoms and what you say about them is certainly true, but that's not to whom I'm referring.
  16. I can tell you from a lot of experience on both sides of Begleitgrenadiers that they are vicious. Looking forward to seeing the 45 version in RT you reference.
  17. What a shame no other tactical wargame company does that. Oh wait...
