  1. My Stryker was not Destroyed or Immobilized, it just said Dismounted.

There was still a blue icon above it. I guess the crew had to utilize the facilities.

Anyway, how do they recrew the vehicle?

    How many does it take?

They did run like pansies when their vehicle came under fire, but if the vehicle wasn't damaged, couldn't they re-man it?

  2. Funny you guys brought this up.

I am currently reading "We Were One" by Patrick K. O'Donnell(another recommendation from this fine forum).

    page 73 states:

"...the engineers were to clear three lanes through a twelve-inch curb running down the center of a road perpendicular to the Marines' line of advance. The curb had to go since it would prevent even tracked vehicles fro entering the ciy."

Tracked vehicles cannot breach a foot high curb?

Or would it be an unnecessary risk of damaging your track/becoming immobilized?

  3. JSB,

I think another 512 of RAM would be your best bet. I jumped from 512 to 1GB in memory specifically for Oblivion. There was a noticeable difference and my system is older/slower than yours.

    nVidia 6600GT 128MB

CMSF should play smoother or at least allow you to up the settings with another 512 of RAM.

    Good luck,

  4. I was thinking the same thing Steiner.

We know Fraps seems to cause some problems. I have the mouse/camera lag issues if I run Fraps in the background.

Wonder what other software could choke out CMSF?

I have an nVidia chipset on my motherboard. Updating those drivers (sound in particular) got me going.
