    Was the Halftrack containing the troops in motion while they were fighting from it?

    If not, it seems like a suicidal way to fight... with the low HT armor. Grenades (and especially bazooka rounds) would seem capable of massive casualties... certainly more than if the troops were not contained in the little box on the road...

    I'm CERTAINLY not arguing the truth of this tactic, as I have no way to research it at the moment. I'm just puzzled by why it would be used at all... perhaps I'm just picturing it all wrong.

    OT: Tungsten 9mm???

    Listening to the radio at work today, I heard a report that the US army is LOW ON AMMO! Particularly 9mm.

    A caller then mentioned that one of the reasons is due to switching to (or already using) Tungsten rounds...

    Is this true? If so, is it the same principle as CM Tungsten rounds?

    Are they armor piercing rounds then?

    Is this the equivelant of full metal jacket rounds?

    Anyone?

    Glad you enjoyed it!

    I'm currently running it as a PBeM... taking the Allied side. Nice to hear of someone playing it through successfully! Also glad to hear of your results... I was a little worried that I put too much opposition for the Allies.

    I only d/load the Mods w/o a batch file switcheroo... OR, I simply d/load the switcheroo MOD and then modify it to my liking. I'm trying to get one set of MODS I'm happy with, so I can freeze them all on CD, along with the last CM patch (when it finally gets here) to save my perfect game for all time.

    However, I certainly RESPECT and ADMIRE the choices that mod makers are giving us these days! Even if you don't want to play the batch file switch game, it's WELL WORTH IT to spend that little extra time personally modifying one of the "choicy" mods to your own taste.

    Here is a new scenario. First one I've made since buying the game in Sept.

    It's loosely based on incidents mentioned in COMPANY COMMANDER, but includes my own flair for the dramatic.

    I Highly suggest playing as the Allies for the first time around... or as a double blind PBeM.

    Thanks for the help guys!

    (Don't know if I want to d/load the the MDMP1 for the Hetzer... perhaps I'll try and make my own...)

    I'd also like to see a "universal" Mod for jeeps.

    Finally, where did the mickey mouse universal carrier come from? I like the borwn one, but I want to compare with the mickey.

    Okay, I went through ALL of mine again... and I gotta say they mesh well with Subvets, except I also need:

    Regular Challenger

    Regular Comet

    Winter Hetzer (needed BADLY! Mine has foliage!!!)

    Winter Jagdpanther and Jagdtiger

    Some help here? Subvet?

    Thanks for figuring our exactly which files were used/missing Subvet!

    As soon as MadMatt posts Tiger's new AA gun files, in the year 2004, we SHOULD have a pretty complete German set of 3rd party mods.

    EDIT: OOOPS forgot the Marder II, and a couple others... nevermind!
