In regular games against the AI I do sometimes wonder what the heck it is doing taking so long but it is not a problem as I can fast forward until contact. In scenarios I don't recall seeing it take that long but again it wouldn't bother me. I Pbems it just goes with the territory as far as I'm concerned. I myself don't just rush in but try to out flank or at least sneak up so it's going to take some time. In scenarios my biggest complaint is the ones that don't allow you enough time and make you hurry. As a matter of fact if I am into a scenario and gauge that I am not going to have the proper time I need I will just quit it. I realize that the designer may have done that on purpose and is necessary for that particular game but I just don't care for that so won't knowing play them. My 2 cents on the subject anyway.

If I am attacking I like a minimum of 40 turns and really prefer 50. Now if you are attacking I prefer 20 or 15 turns. I don't enjoy attacking head on but prefer trying to flank the defender so I need time. My opinion. As far as gamey goes all depends on who you talk to I suppose.

I will have to second that Andreas. I have those myself and as usual anything by Gordon is smashing. Too bad he got a job or whatever it is keeping him form modding more. But hey I understand people have lifes and he just doesn't love us anymore.

I have looked high and low for this particular mod and can't find it anywhere. Hard to believe it's been overlooked. Another one is the BT-5 1933 Fast Tank. It's nowhere to be found either. Right? Oh, and now to mention the STUG IIIE and lastly the STUG IIIB. Just in case anybody was interested. Hint, hint. Now I am referring to the non-winter mods of course. Thank you for listing.

Yeah the main problem I see with CMBB is that it takes everything so long to do like vehicles turning around but that's a small price to pay I guess for everything else being so much improved. I am very anxious however to get CMAK. Now that should be something.

Well, I agree that this game is so much better that I will never go back to my old friend CMBO. It was a big part of my life for over 3 years, day in and day out but since recently buying this one there is just no way I could bring myself to going back. I think fondly of it from time to time but it is just so unrealistic compared to this one that I just can't go back. I just wish it hadn't taken me so long to buy CMBB. BFC knows what they are doing in my opinion. Hat off to those guys. A another outstanding game.

Thanks Tooz for the reply. You made me go back and after an hour of down loading and checking them out in the game which is the only way you have of telling if they are late or early I was able to round up the ones I needed. Thanks for your help. I had given up.

Glad to hear it. Oh yes that BFC does like to mess with your mind. I remember almost crying when I opened the package and only found the manual but then I was even happier when I discovered that it was in the book. Someone up there has a sick sense of humor if you ask me. Anyway, you'll be busy for a while I bet? Personally I am downloading everything I can get my hands on trying to get the game looking like I want it and at the same time reading and playing a few games just to familiarize myself with all the cool and new units. I'm referring to the period of 1941 & 1942 for the 251/1 & 251/2 and for the 251/10 all periods. Have any been done I wonder? Would appreciate any answers either way. I've looked several ( meaning more than 5 times ) and just can't locate any. While I love CM database it is rather difficult to sort through. Not a put down to the site by any means. I can only imagine the time and energy that's put into it. Just a fact. Anyway, anybody know anything about these?

OK maybe I'm not so groggy after all. Those are looking too good not to use. There actually are several of the T-34's that I would love to replace for one reason or another and if these are those particular ones I'll be using these beauties. Really great looking Flesh. Man, Makjager these little beauties are excellent. You are fast becoming one of my favorite modders, course I love all modders. I don't mean that I really love you but you, oh you know what I mean? I cannot believe this but I cannot locate the Finnish units to select to use in a game. When I enter the scenario editor and I am given the option to select what side I want to pick it never allows me to select the Finnish. I can select the Germans, Hungarians, Italians and the Romanians but not the Finnish. Is there a trick to this or am I brain dead? I can't believe I'm even having to ask this but man I have tried every month and year combination and it won't let me select them. Any help here. This is driving me nuts!!!
