  1. All I could find is the weather for 11/03: http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/local/RSXX0117
  2. Check the batteries. They may have leaked, or been installed backwards.
  3. What we thought was new was "move to contact" for vehicles. While playing last night I noticed this was already in CMBB.

  6. Check out www.theinternet.com Well, that's actually an Amazon site, but you get my point. [ November 12, 2003, 06:46 PM: Message edited by: Pvt. Ryan ]
  7. CM does not have a campaign layer, but it does have operations which link several days' fighting. There have been many debates over whether CM should include a campaign, but so far BFC is not interested in adding that aspect. You can play a Quick Battle where you get to choose all the parameters for the game, including the forces.
  8. I'm pretty sure the demo, if not the game itself, will be released on 11/11/03.
  9. Yeah, what John said! I'm Darren, by the way. One other observation was that fighting against dug-in infantry in the desert is like playing Whack-A-Mole. You concentrate fire on one target, only to have it suppress and crawl back into its hole while three other units pop up. The process seemed never ending, which is why our Crusaders were nearly out of ammo. They did have plenty of smoke though.

  12. From the FAQ: It doesn't look like Ethiopan troops are included, unless they were added later. I forgot to check at the sneak peek, not that I could tell you anyway.

  14. It's nice to see the old hats educating the newbies.
  15. Three piece fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and a roll for only $4.95. Michael </font>
  16. Me - hard core? We had a great time, although only three of us showed up. The donut to attendee ratio was quite high. It was more of a CM get together than a sneak preview because we basically just started palying and forgot to check out many of the new features. The vehicles look great and the Brits have cute knobby knees. The gameplay is essentially the same as CMBB and the interface is clean. I don't know what else to say other than the rest of you losers missed out on a lot of fun. Thank you, Bill, for your hospitality.

  19. It looks like a young girl with a water bottle on her head.
  20. HOLY ****! That's some serious demo, I wonder what will come with the full game! </font>
