However, I ask that you bear with me for a bit. I am litterally diving into this headfirst. The regular tourney was already on cruise control when all this happened, but yours needs to start from a dead stop. I have the keys in the ignition, I just need to find out how to put in into gear.

Yes please. I'm still not sure how all this will shake out, so just to be safe I'd suggest you resend everything to me. This goes for everyone. To date all I've received are 2 AARs from Holien (the Beast and Hosszupalyi). Even if everything returns to normal it doesn't hurt to have everything in back-up storage.

Request denied I have to say this is all so ridiculous. An accidental, and very minor administrative mixup is being blown way out of proportion by so many people. Let me lay this to rest once and for all. The tourney will continue as planned. Barring any real life issues, the list of current players will finish the tourney and the section winners will advance into the finals. And at the end of it all the winner will receive the wine from Winecape. As always I am availible if anyone wants to discuss this in private. My address is in my profile. Now, please, get back to enjoying the tourney. And don't forget those AARs!

Panzer76 is correct, padlocking a unit in LOS would get the AI to launch a prep barrage.

Ok, time I weigh in here... First off, I would like to apologize for any inconvinences and would ask that you bear with me until I get this all sorted out. What happened was an honest mistake and as stated earlier is not so serious that the tourney needs to come a sceeching halt. I just need a little time to sort things out. What does this mean to you? Nothing. Enjoy the scenarios, enjoy the competion, please continue writing those AARs and most of all please observe the FOW blackout. In other words, continue as normal. In the meantime I will contact Treeburst, Winecape and others to work out a solution. I will keep you all updated of any changes. I may be able to help you out, but you'll have to wait a bit to get the full set of scenarios. Currently the members of the Rugged Defense ladder club are participating in a tourney which features scenarios designed by Boots and Tracks. Each scenario features a different period of the war, starting with the invasion in June '41 and eventually ending with the battle for Berlin. There will be a total of 8 scenarios, one for each round of their tourney. The first round is now wrapping up, and that scenario "Into Russia we go" will soon be availible to the public. The next round will start Feb 1st, but since only the winners of round one get to advance there are only half as many players, so the round two scenario will be availible much sooner. If you are interested I can e-mail you this scenario (or snag it from the depot).

And if that person was to have suddenly been hit by a real life tragedy, such as a death of a loved one? My suggestions, chill out, relax and understand it's only a game. That's right, only a game.

Go into the editor, open scenario, go to map editor, Ctl-click on tile where landmark is placed, hit backspace to delete text, close and save scenario.

*******SPOILER********* * * * * * * * Play 'To the last man' as the Allies. There are two scenarios at the depot with the same name. Make sure to get the version by Wild Bill (although the other by Andreas is equally as good, but is a different battle altogether). Don't waste the fight on the AI. Get yourself a good opponent and enjoy.
