The Super Furry animals, don't they all wear Chuppy's blue shirt/brown trouser combo?

Hercules prophet geforce2 MX has the dual monitor thingey (I think)
-
I may be of some help here as I have recently purchased a new system with the 900 Thunderbird chip (I'm told it is easily clockable to 1.1Gb) and a Hercules geforce 2 MX card (32mb). This has no problem with even a large scenarion such as "Eagles lair"
I too was looking at the 64mb GTS card, however it appears that the gains made by going to the 64 do not equal the extra cost involved as the 4 speed interface of the card to board acts as a bottle neck to all that extra card memory.
The 32mb GTS is cheaper and only slighter down on performance, although that difference will be barely noticible except at really high resolution.
In the end I saved money by getting the MX card and it works great! Smooth motion and nice support of smoke/fog etc.
256 RAM may also not give the sort of gains you are looking for so I would recommend to make your initial purchase of a new chipset and see how that goes.
Woops, just re-read your post, I see you have 64mg RAM, Go up to 128mb for sure.

Lol, trust Andreas to know all about Queens!

Nope, both wrong.
I'm a great, proud Oak.
Just like all the other great proud Oaks that used to cover the south of england until the bloody Plantagnets cut them all down to build a poxy British navy back around Lizzy 1st's time.
So the set up goes to me...hah!
Although I am promised to both Herr Oberst and Bauhaus...No gentlemen I have'nt forgotten you, I am just being useless, which is unusual for an Oak really as we are actually quite usefull. Just ask a Plantagnet...

Don't learn too fast gaff, or our game will go your way faster than it is already!
Like anyone cares, I'm 34 and have taken the 'growing old optional' route.
Like I still race dirt bikes, speed like crazy on my roadbike and thrash around in my V8 musclecars. Oh yeah, and enjoy many things that only 'young'people are suppossed to enjoy. shhhhh.......
No kids = No responsibilities Yee Hah!

Torture you? That...That's a good idea.

On another note, as a great and powerful tree I have been around these here parts for freek'in yonks and I seem to recall that the Peng thread was ordained to become a multi national corporation with each existence in the hands of a new nation.
So far we have had multiple existences in the hands of the "Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early..etc,etc" Amuurikans, a short but delightful excursion to the "Australia, Australia we love you...'nother tube!" Ozzies. Now how is it that the 'pool has fallen back under the spell of Ahh-Chooey?
What pact with the devil was made to ensure the great windbag got the keys to the family sedan again?
We should give Mensch a turn at the helm....who knows what directions we may travel under his guidance? My guess is it would be like an LSD trip in conjunction with an opium enema.
But what would I know, I'm only a tree right?
(albeit it a tree with champion sized pine cones)
-
Mind you, I'm a particularly strong and handsome tree.
-
Why is it that every time we move house, we seem to drag the same low-life sight seers with us?
You'd think after one or two visits to the 'pool and the odd bloodied nose received as a form of 'fair ye well' on the way out, they would wander off limply into the mists of irrelevence.
Are they seeking acceptance, a little harsh dicipline or more likely are they spotty teenagers looking for freinds since their own peers starting bashing them?
I'll leave interpretation of results to Mensch, the loony pschotherapist, because I'm a tree and can't interpret s**t.
-
I like to say something really witty and cutting to leave you as a snivelling, quivering mess on the floor, MadMensch. But I can't, I'm a tree remember?
Your'e still a snivelling mess though....

Nah, Speedy, that 'Sandman' thing was a one-off made up for the Sydney motor show I think.
And while we're talking engines, the 308 in my GTS had a tunnel ram with 2x 4 barrel holleys (polished of course), and did'nt it ferk'in go!, of course a set of 3.55 gears in the diff sure helped the take off if not the top speed

Rip off his head and s**t down his throat!
Rip off his arms and beat him with the soggy end!
That said........now bugger off!

Take his pants off?
Your'e on your own there iggi.........

Haha, nice one, my Knight, like it, like it.
*Grovel, grovel, Fawn, fawn*

Be nice Simon, or we'll come 'round and do do-nuts on your front lawn

Considering I'm shelling out $3500 for my new Athlon system tomorrow, $110 for the game itself is of little concern.
-
Ohhh,I feel a stirring in my loins!......
-
Big hint for the project Bozza, do as much of the work yourself if you can.
I taught myself to rebuild engines, do the paintwork and all disassembly/assembly myself (like polishing all parts before they went to the platers) and kept the HJ below $18000. I've since won several trophies at the State titles, before retiring the car from competitions.
Now its up on blocks in my fully carpeted shed under sheets, while I concentrate on other things in life like CM!
-
Tch, Tch. We do take anyone these days don't we?
Did anyone think to check his references, credit history , criminal record or afid davits from previous employers?
-
Yeeeees, Robotwat and Captain Furball... did they fall in love and elope together?
-
Hey kwazydog, what model monaro?
I've gotta HJ GTS 4/speed 308 show car and a HQ 253 ute for the day to day stuff.
You gotta luv the trusty holden V8!
-
Oh and by the way, my new Athlon system arrives tomorrow, so Herr Bauhaus and Herr Oberst, the wait for your impending topplement is nigh.
Beware your in-box gentlemen, for something wicked this way comes.......
Muahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Gulp! Does that mean, Mr Lorak..Sir,.. that neither Croda nor myself will be knighted after our match is over? Even though I grind his nose into the earth while jumping up and down on the back of his head? And letting you all know about it?
Say it isn't so......
