1. Now that great!! Thanks WB... Just as scenarios and Ops keep pilling in my eMail and I was looking at a way to analyze them. Boy, do you always thought of every thing? My first impulse was an Excel sheet but seeing as your idea are more often than not a "de facto" norm, I'll go with the flow. Marcel ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
2. Fantastic work. Congrats. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
3. I'm willing. PBEM anyone? ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
4. Good idea, Incoming mail your way. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
5. Yep, One of the most "moving" about CM to date. Say BTS, are you paying them or what? Must be VERY gratifying for you guys to see both the sky rocketing sales and the huge support you get from every single quarters. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
6. Just had a 234/3 75mm wrecked a M10TD with a flanking shot in an hilly Quick Battle. As at been said above, I'd rather have those buggers Puma and WhirlWind than fat JagdTigers any time. Makes for some fun "Hit and Run" playing.
7. I'll test it too if you please marcel.vie@wanadoo.fr ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
8. Don't you just love those posts? ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
9.
quote:
Originally posted by Wild Bill Wilder: Many thanks, my friend. This is very special to me...

Waaaaaoooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Did HE just say "my friend"? Now I could die a happy man. And this from someone who had repeatedly and almost singelhandedly wrecked my social life with his contributions. And CM won't improve that a bit. BTW, because of all those games, singelhandedly sums my social life up rather literally... ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped [This message has been edited by PawBroon (edited 07-02-2000).]
10.
quote:
Originally posted by Wild Bill Wilder: Saving Private Ryan, one to play just for the fun of playing and remembering the movie, is also one of my own personal favorites, Wako and PawBroon. Thanks.

For you a much deserved homage to all your work and contribution to the Hobby. And a FUNNIER Ramelle's SPR to play with... Dunno how to insert image from hard disk so I'll mail it to you. Enjoy... ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped [This message has been edited by PawBroon (edited 07-02-2000).]
11. SPR's Ramelle from WB is good. I mean, it could really taught you how to keep your head low and use every single opportunity. As a fun twist to it... ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
12. As for later releases, I guess (IMHO) that if any additions should be made, they'd rather be Luftwaffe squads since they fought far more than Kriegsmarine squads. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
13. Nice things those ricochets. Yesterday I had a full 2 minutes of them off a Jackson and one of them buggers hurled down the way and BLEW a Greyhound. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
14. Welcome in here Lane. You couldn't find a better game and a better place. The Hotseat password is there to "protect" you. Since you're supposed to play against someone else. So that "protection" is there just for that, protective purpose. So, yes, it is in the retail CM. But trust every one in here, it's worth every cents you could throw at. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
15. Hi, You guys did an extraordinary job. Just received the game, applied the patch and the Mods and that's it. One thing though, the exit sound is "heavy" on my sleeping beauty, could I fine tune it and how? ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
16. Nice touch. Even if it will sure be deemed as too gamey. In any case it was a useful feature of Harpoon where you could actually see how to deploy and overlap your task forces. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
17. Just received it in Paris/France. The process seems to be quite random but CM sure is peppered all over Europe now. Can't help but feel a profound sympathy for our cousins in Canada still waiting for theirs. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
18. Oh my God... you all are right. The graphics are not bad... I mean they are GOOD! Very good. And much more better than in the Demo I played. Why do they release such bad demo versions?? I was shocked.. Thx for the link. That one was from BUMRUSH. Those of you who had read the "Trollish" threads should have appreciated the guy attempts to make amends. In my history of newsgroup reading, it was the first time I actually LOL in the office reading that. The guy has style... ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped [This message has been edited by PawBroon (edited 06-30-2000).]
19. Now that's just perfect! Just had a phone call from home and CM has arrived. Just when I was considering ritualistic disembowlement... BTW, HOME is Paris/France. Hope all of you guys could enjoy the same week end as me. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
20. You are truly fantastic. I mean, I'm even nice to you guys and my CM is still out in the boonies... Is that a trick so that us psycho re-order again? lol Congrats on the baby and on how he's growing. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
21. Aren't we a sorry bunch? I just downloaded the new 1.02d to make my waiting less hellish and now the PBEM that I'm playing with retail CM won't work. See? It's 1.01 and 1.02d No matter how you twist it, I need a fast delivery... ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
22. Glad for you chap. Bon, il est evident que je ne le pense pas DU TOUT... Seriously, if it's in Orleans it might end up in Paris tomorrow or on saturday. Lucky guy. Keep some PBEM with the other Appui-feu guys for me. Marcel. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
23. What they did had mainly an effect in a broad strategic sense. Holding troops for police works elsewhere. Blowing up bridges and railways. So I guess that in CM you MIGHT say that if the german player has NO King Tiger, it could be because FFI blew up the bridge under its tracks. For CM2, partisans had also a tactical role and hence could be included in a game. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
24.
quote:
Originally posted by gibsonm: Pawbroon, Perhaps you should stop blowing up ships in their harbours !

Guy we were sinking ships with the express purpose of delaying CM delivery. Not working though. It's in NZ, in countries neighbouring France and it's not even in PARIS. I've never felt sooooo Canadian in my whole life. ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
25. Hi and welcome. Et bienvenu sur ce forum... You should do a search under "Partisan" and you'll find more than you could process. Short version is that the scale and scope of CM will not accommodate our FFI and others. CM2 will be Eastern front and partisans should be included. Un site sur CM en français existe aussi ainsi qu'un webring. http://appui-feu.panzershark.com/ ------------------ Either he's dead or my watch has stopped
