Well, as for me, it worked most of the time to hide my panzerschreck... that way, they would normally hold fire... at least if the GIs didn't come to close... one thing that I am missing more is to tell your armored vehicles to target a specific target, so that it happened twice to me in VoT that my shermans plastered the reinforcement infantry but spared the panther.... uhm.. you can imagine that the panther didn't copy that attitude.... and i have a real problem with that hunt command... as it often happens to me that the tanks simply kept moving after taking the ridge in VoT, spotting some AntiTank teams, targeting them and continuing to move... you know, i WON'T drive towards an anti-tank team while sitting in a sherman...especially, when they spotted me too, but were to far away for their fire to be efective... (distance was somewhat like 280metres) same goes for advancing on bunkers and enemy tanks...i would be happy if there would be an option that would allow me to advance until i spot a target (maybe i can define the target type, like infantry, anti tank teams, stationary targets without tankkilling ability, stationary targets with tank killing ability (i would like to kill those first personally ) tanks, but thats not THAT necessary), then get a target lock, fire, and slowly reverse again... (the AI does the same thing after all....) some command called like encounter with caution or the like... So, BTS, may we get something like that into the game? .... Please? .... perhaps through a patch? .... Maybe they could simply add the ambush option for a bunker, where the bunker sits still and targets one spot, waiting for the enemy to cross this place... just my 2 cents... -- Targetdrone who doesn't want to draw attention ... especially from guys with big guns ...

Hmm.. In VoT, as allies, i manageed with 19casulties (3 KIA) and a score of 94... the enemy surrendered in turn 26 i must admit a .... bit of luck was involved, as one of my 105 shermies killed the panther with a single shot right from the hill my arty spotters were standing too.. all across the map... never knew this was possible -- TargetDrone who doesn't want to draw attention.... especially from guys with big guns....

maybe WP wasn't commonly used simply because it was also dangerous for the side who carried the rounds? As far as I know WP's self-igniting point is only some degrees higher than normal room temperature... now imagine a Tank who gets a storage hit... i guess that you can call brew up then... you can bet that the WP will ignit all other explosives as well, no matter how securely stored.. and the crew has NO chance to get out in time... would be a really cooking party... I guess that may be one reason why WP wasnt used quite commonly... and i guess also, if used in the game brewing up a tank with complete crew loss should happen much easier that way... uhm... the problem is with the print shop? well.. i have the sollution... send me the game and email me the manual.. that will do perfectly... ill print out the manual on my own.... or... send me the manual after it has been printed, but send the game immediately... you have hereby the right to charge me extra shipping costs, no problem with that... as for murphys law, mikester has said anything necessary ) so.. did it help? -- Targetdrone I don't want to draw attention.... especially from guys with big guns....

Well, Lt. Bull, if you hit Austria by accident, sure thing you can drop in for a visit, and have some playing with CM....
