i have been right!! all 3 stugs down and the sherman survived... because you asked.. yes, one squad got off a shot with a faust... didnt see it first, but i heard the sond, and when comparing their stats i found that the left one (looking in the direction of your enemy) had initially 2 fausts but then only one... after close examining the scene, i saw that it missed (just as i predicted ) and nearly hit your own stug... which was blown out by the far sherman shortly after... that leads me to a question... would it have been possible for his own squad to faust his Stug? and if so... would it have been shown as kill on the units statistics? and would he be able to execute them for that fault? i just was digging through the forum, looking what the eldest post was... hmm the content makes me think there must be messages somewhere that are even older... Where can i find them? i found the sollution... as i have 2 (infacht 3, but doesnt matter) computers in my lan, all running over a proxy, i will play Diablo on one and CM on the other pc... this is called mental multitasking ... ------------------ TargetDrone who has a heart for smilies and will defend their rights .... even if the cost is bloody....

uhm well.. im aiming for one of the microsoft optical mice... several reasons... 1. I hate microsoft, and if i get angry when playing, i always bash my mouse... 2. I'm an asshole, i know... now that they have finished one of the greatest games in history and already have done the first patch prior to release, i come up with an idea loaded with yet more work for them... but, the idea stroke me when i was reviewing how the smilies' battle against Germanboy's Imac-Defence-Force was going. How about a sweet little tool that lets you view the movies without having to load each and every file on its own? i mean, it would also be interesting if you have done a whole game and can view either side, and if you provide both passwords you can switch the viewed side while the movie is running... Fiction? uhm.. sorry, but i just thought that would REALLY be useful... perhaps BTS or someone other comes with ideas and sollutions... as said above, sorry for expecting you at BTS to even think about more work then you already have... Ohwell.. piracy... i guess nearly everyone now has a toaster in his computer... but heck... i guess, good software (and i consider CM a good software indeed) does not deserve to be copied... i mean, the price isnt that high, and what you get for it is worth every single penny... now, speaking of bariers BTS.... please do us all a favour... there are various copy protections softwaresollutions out there for making the data on your cd saver... hmm well... let me guess that 99% of this software will at maximum cause the pirates a pityingly smile... but can be a real pain for your customers (i will never forget when i recieved jagged alliance 2... german version.. the game can be debated... but .. if my original cd isn't recognized as original, and i have to download a patch done by hackers to be initially able to play, im done with the company and product... btw, that protetction was named laser-lock...) what i wanted to say is, that you can't really prevent the comercial software pirates, who run big repro shops just for this one purpose, from pirating your software (i guess you have to wait for the police to do it.. like it happened over heere in austria some weeks ago where a full truckload of copies was encountered) but eventually you could spoil the fun for many of your customers if they cant use your software until you release a patch that actually deactivates the protection... (dont laugh people.. was done by topware in the JA2 issue) so, i will keep telling people who ask me to make a copy for them to buy the original if they want to have a game...(after all, you should be supported, and financially enabled to continue your work... we are all waiting for further patches and for CM2...) I normally DO make a personal copy (which is legal over here, as long as it is what it is... a backup copy) which i use for play, while the original is stored securely in the basement... (it happened to me once that i accidently destroyed an original cd... and boy , it only causes problems to get an replacement.) Hope you are fine with that... now, i have talked enough i guess .. (hell, im already a member , i don't need to post so often but i cant help, i have a loose mouth) maybe finally a statement: People, if you like CM, BUY IT!
