update: even tho my normal user account was created with administrator privilages, and even tho I manually went through several uninstalls and reinstalls and setting admin privilages on the executables, patching and over and over. The game(s) wouldn't run. I finally tried logging on to the main admin account and installed the game, went in and manually selected admin privilages on all executables, and the game was able to run...both on the default install location and a reinstall to a larger data drive. Don't know exactly why, but was only able to get the game to run by installing in the main admin account. Hope this helps someone else that may buy and install this older game.

did the uber patch, same problem, won't work. sux never used the games and stuck with it.

can't get iether SF or ToW to run on my system. SF error says "failed to initialize..." Vista 64 ultimate latest nvidia drivers can anyone help?

found that patch but site says it is not for my version, only for the downloaded version. ??

no haven't installed any patches... went to the patch area and it said there were no patchesfor my version...will search for the uber patch. specs here are: asus p6t6 i7 940 12g corsair 1600 2x evga gtx 295 vista 64 ult

ordered it from battlefront.com along with Shock Force...

PC DvD Tried all the instructions at the help section about adding the files to in the performance section, but game still won't run. Got tired of trying after a couple hours...

Installed the game today from the retail dvd but it won't run. Selected to run in Win XP SP2 mode and as administrator but still no good. Tried to also run the mission editor and got an error saying that it won't work with the version of the game...doh! anyone help?
