Yeah I told Rommel about doing that a bit ago. Before he just shot them, now he puts em to use. It is useful AND funny. Just watch the British soldier walking forward and BOOM!.

I never really liked playing with tanks in any game. CM makes me like it more, but I still love infantry the most

Who doesn't want a crack at Rommel? Those who want to BE him! That would be fun stuff... Vietnam could have the kind of engagements CM is for. Except not many tanks, and you'd NEED to include choppers.

I loved the Syndicate Wars atmosphere, plus it had a good story, and it just looked DAMN cool. Another plus were the HUNDREDS of civilians running around that got in the crossfires between the agents. But soemtimes if there were no armed people around, I'd whip out the flamethrower and go to town on those little screaming bastards. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! I also loved how you could completely demolish any building and how the vehicles crashed really nice, into buildings blowing them up. My favorite was planting High Explosives in the police station and then causing a ruckus to get them all to come out, right when it blows up!

I was just wondering what everyone's taste in computer games is in here. What are/were your favorites and such? I am mostly into realistic wargames, like CM of course, the CC series, and the Panzer General series. I also like multiplayer thinking games, not big deathmatches. For those I enjoy Rainbow Six, Tribes, Team Fortress, and Chain of Command (free WWII multiplayer game, go to www.2am.com) I also was REALLY into Ultima Online. I had a gigantic guild of murderers, looters, thieves, scammers, sadists and other unsavory sorts. We used to terrorize the mining trade near one town. We forced players to pay us to use public mines or else we would massacre them. Gotta love hunting non-combat players:PThat game WAS a hoot, (until they changed it recently to get rid of ALL player on player violence, robbing, etc. Making it CareBear land, thus, I quit and started CM) One gem of a game that I canno find any more is Syndicate Wars, by Bullfrog. That IMO is one of the best games ever made.

Okay I have found my most hated of my own units. I was playing a PBEM battle and I had a Kubelwagen speeding back towards my lines. He was dropping off a sniper really close to the Americans. Well on his way towards my lines at full speed, he starts taking fire, needless to say, he gets killed. But the funny thing is that he keeps on GOING! He speeds down the road and runs over an AT mine lights on fire, but keeps GOING! (It's down a hill!) When the road reaches a turn, he plows right off the road at a hidden Heavy Weapons platoon. Well they all stand up and run around to get outta the way, and my opponent now sees them and starts firing all these mortars at them, destroying my great ambush. Damn the Kubelwagen from hell!!

Well I have posted some funny but bad stuff that has happened to me in CM games before, but I just laughed way too hard at this one Okay I am playing a quick battle, and am defending a town. I have 2 bazookas in 2 different light buildings right across from each other. In one of the buildings is a sniper, in the other 2 men of a platoon hq. Well a Tiger comes rumbling down the road between them and I say "Haha! Ambush you;re dead!" And my bazookas both fire-and miss. The rockets fly across the street into the buildings on the other side. My sniper dies, my HQ dies, and one bazooka dies. My surviving bazooka, fires once more at the Tiger and the building lights on fire, killing him. That was the funniest 1 minute of action I had seen

I was just finding something strange.... German Halftrack crews are dressed just as the infantry are, in helmets and all. I was just wondering why is it that Bunker and pillbox crews are dressed in tanker uniforms. Same thing with trucks and kubelwagens. I figure they should wear helmets and such like halftrack crews since they are just regular soldiers. Looks kind of funny seeing a truck driver with an Iron Cross. Did he run over an enemy general or something?
