Guys don't forget to post your time constraints when you log your games -- Rob this may be something you want to add in a drop down list box - that way it will make it easy to moderate and games that are under dispute Also all you ladder players dont forget TH also has its own BBS for all that taunting This should really be cooking by the time TCPIP rolls around - ------------------ SS_PanzerLeader.......out

My son plays CM too (he's 6). I simply let him no that there would be alot of people upset if he ran around pretending to be an SS soldier and briefly explained why in a context he was able to understand. ------------------ SS_PanzerLeader.......out

Rob, Glad to see we got this implemented, this will be a big plus for those desiring to play a pbem under specific time constraints, It will prove very effective in preventing anyone utilizing this feature from having to worry about uncompleted ladder games should their opponent start losing. Hi Rob, Glad to see this thing off the ground and have greatly enjoyed being part of it, I'm sure it will have a great place in the CM commmunity.The modification to the chess ranking system to accomadate CM's degree of wins will truly make this ladder an excellent reflection of skill. Ok Bud Ive seen yo post some serious crap on here but this really pisses me off. telling people to "go Get gassed" is about as ****ty and insensitive as you could possibly be . Alot of your posts have been looked at as Pro SS/Nazi and you balked at the implication, then you go and post some BS like this .. Fionn isn't here to defend himself so I think its best he should be left out of this. I also don't think he would do anything like this he is usually pretty upfront about his confrontations and they have been with certain individuals. Dr Brian, I have sat back for a while now and watched you propagate this crap. I think it has been extremely evident that you are unresearched in what you choose to discuss, and the parallels you draw are merely unsubstantiated tabloid rhetoric. No One here to my knowledge is a Nazi and no one has stated any views supporting what took place during WW2. It is extremely evident you enjoy hearing yourself talk even though you have nothing useful to say. Interesting piece, Ive seen other films similar. The problem with this is it isnt 1941, the war IS over, and has been for a long time. This is a game forum we are playing a WW2 GAME. Contrasting people that play as germs or having a germ sounding name to this is comparing apples and oranges. Well to be honest and a little blunt, this is a wargaming community and what the outside observer thinks really isnt all that relevant IMO. (Not trying to be a jerk so please dont take that wrong ) What is relevant is the extreme opinions of certain individuals that seem to want to look down their noses at others over the most stupid crap, and then force their ideals and morals on them. Its the same with the gamey crap ..Oh if this person does that they are gamey And Im better than that .. or if this person supports a roster or a grid we are better than that.. This is getting absurd. This is a game and was a pretty good forum! I agree that blatant glorfication of the nazis is BS. But a name is nothing more than that and it is a very relevant one to this game and that is why I chose it and have never had any crap over it til i got here with the elitist crowd. I gamed in the zone for two years with this name never heard a word from ANYONE. NEver once did a conversation like the ones in these latest three threads ever pop up. I just dont understand the attitudes. Im playing a game what is important is that my opponent is an honorable stand up player who would not cheat. I dont care what his name is, I dont care what he believes in,I dont care about his religion, color, sexual preference, or bank account size. I dont make it my business to put my self in the holier than tho department, christ we had a transvestite playing CC2 and they took less crap than what some have recieved in here. Thiis was said above: I object, in general, to the idolization of the Wehrmacht and (especially) the SS. I have given my reasons for this in another thread (search on "Waffen SS"). I also object to some of the underlying theories in The Commissar's post, but this is not the place to discuss it. Statements like this is what is a bit much for me to swallow ...it is a huge unsubstantiated leap of logic to associate someones name or the fact they like to play as germs and then to stereotype them as idolators of SS warcriminals. Maybe Im outta line maybe this was meant for a specific nameless individaul rather than the gamers in general that like germs or their equip but it didnt seem that way. ------------------ SS_PanzerLeader.......out

I doubt they have started on 2 yet somehow, but I could be wrong. as for system requirements i hope they push the envelope as far as possible and design it on at least an 800MHZ machine with min 128 - 256 megs of ram I doubt it will happpen but one can hope. It sure would be nice to see cutting edge graphics that could compliment the cuutting edge gameplay not taht the graphics dont rock now... Well I was trying to stay out of this crap but it seemms its pretty unaviodable since ya pretty muuch included me in point number 4 although the motivation behind my name has nothing to do with that point I took the name beacuse of two reasons 1 the SS clan was forming for CC2 2. It sounded better and more intimidating than PanzerLeader alone no more no less Im not a nazi dont support them, skin heads or any other factist orgainization, My grandad fought against the nazis in WW2 This IS JUST A name... any body reading more into .... well I feel sorry for ya the war was over in 1945. All this is about for me is tactical competition and its a shame that some blowhards have to cause such crap on the forum! (not u tankersly) I think their uniforms looked kool and liked their equipment I play both sides in cm although in CC2 i definitely preferred germs cause allies sucked bigtime in that game.
