I was thinking of making a new version of my Kelly's heroes campaign using CMAK. I can add in the howitzer mounted halftrack! -

Winter buildings are all black. I guess they didn't have time for all the winter building bitmaps? -

Combat Mission Napoleonic Style...

Why are the Napoleonic games so far behind? Cossaks Napoleonic wars looks like an improvement but the formations look stiff. -
Next CM game-a napoleonic one?

BUMP! -
I have had the same lockup problems. The whole machine freezes. It only happened when I was playing tcp/ip at this point. I have a Tbird 850 running Win98. It doesn't happen that often but when it does you have to reboot the whole system.

I had the same wacky problem with my crews. Running a Thunderbird 850 with a rage128 card.

CM Strategic Layer Computer Software.

I have been working on the Market Garden campaign. I am basing it on GDWs OPERATION MARKET GARDEN. It is battalion level, each hex is 2 miles. I think battalion level is the way to go. I have all the TO&E info, just need a way to keep track of battalion losses. Each battle will be a CMBO Operation. I will need to create a lot of maps. I was thinking of just creating them on the fly as each battle took place. If anyone is interested in helping out let me know. The thought of commanding 30 Tiger IIs and maneuvering them into a strategic location is motivation enough. -

Very interesting. Thanks for all the input. -
Just curious as to why the Mark IV did not have a fancy name like the Panther or Tiger? The Germans didn't use the king of all beasts (lion) as a name as far as I know. Looks like they had a sense of humor even at the end of the war with the Mouse.

I would love to see this but BTS won't be putting it into CMBB. -

Adobe photo shop. And AOLs image thumbnails to find what I need. -
As far as the offier is concerned, I just went for the rank, not the number of men. I had to make a few concessions with the game. Did the unit run away and get killed or fight back? It's a shame you didn't tangle with the Tigers, they are in there in MOST games. They have a percentage chance to arrive during the game. The beauty of this scenario is that the replayablility is high. Try it out again and see what happens. I am glad to see the Tigers didn't show up. The odds were very slim of that happening. I congratulate you for reaching the bank. Fill us in on the details of the operation. I only made it to the bank once or twice myself. I might even post a site where we can share stories and screen shots if people are interested.

is sixty seconds untouchable?
Lempereur replied to Captain Hook's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
bump. And why do all delays have the same amount of seconds per morale class? 13 seconds to start to move a vehicle, why not some 10 seconds and others 14? -
