  1. Well, without knowing any of your system specs it is hard to give you any help. So if you post what system you have, including Video Card, sound card, and as much info as possible, someone will be able to help you ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)
  2. I think one of the reasons was realism. You have to put yourself in the position of your force commander. Are you always going to be able to ask that MG42 500m away how many casualties they caused in the last minute ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)
  3. No, there isn't. Obviously, the demo is made up using select files to restirict it to being just that - a demo. In a couple of weeks though, you can use as many different tanks as you like ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)
  4. There is no list. But, the uniform feature at CMHQ Annex has already five or six up, so... As for guns - the unit list Fionn posted in his preview of CM last year on CMHQ has a German Unit List for the Wehrmacht (But this list is quite old.) ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)

  12. I had a wooden mg bunker last the entire game - caused 27 infantry casualties. I had it placed on the road junction leading into Plomville. In the same game my 75 pillbox took out all 6 tanks and caused 13 infantry casualties I won an Axis Major Victory - 92 to 8.   17. There is also no one big campaign ala cc series. But rather, the equivalent is an operation. Operations are played on very large maps, with each battle taking place on a different portion. The scenario designer defines how many battles, what time they'll take place, reinforcements, attacking country etc. ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)

  19. Yes, it is annoying sometimes. Try and set it up so that it only has one area of LOS. i.e don't set it up on a hill where it can cover the entire valley. Set it up with LOS straight down the road, or hitting the left hill. This way, the number of targets will be confined to that area ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)
  20. I don't think it is that more of the map is revealed...you just fight the second battle on a different portion of the map. What you seem to be questioning is if operations have terrain fog of war - they don't. Operations involve, as you said, starting at the end of a large map up to 5000m x 3000m I think and battling it across with dynamic battle lines. They sound excellent, and one centred around VOT would be fantastic You will definitely have to be weary of counter attacks in ops as well - but remember, the number of battles, time and length of the battles in operations are all pre-defined by the operation creator during construction. ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)
  21. Use the target next feature so they don't keep lighting up the same target.
  22. Personally I like to play US in VOT, up myself to 150% - ensuring I get 8 105mm FO's and then just pound the livin' snot out of that pansy ass town Bombville - I mean Plomville. (god I suck) ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)
  23. S P O I L E R Maybe You could definitely make the battles last that long by being pedantic with unit placement and movement. But who want's to do that all the time Sometimes it just more fun to crank up the play balance to 150% and blow the snooter out of something with 8 105mm FO's.   25. Why would you want to spoil the surprise? Besides, in a couple of weeks, you can see for yourself But from what's been said previously, there will be a good balance of historical and ahistorical.
