It was june 2002 in Ukraine army camp, near Odessa, there are lot of "balka" deep gully 20-30 meter Under. My men and i werre on observation post, we know a full tank squadron (12 Leclerc AFV) are moving on us. First we spotted the tank at 1-1.5 kil gaz smoke ! but suddenly they diseppears and we have to wait 10 minutes before they jump from the gully. Awesome and very dangerous, at time i think an AFV have rolled over one of my guy's ! He was very Lucky, the Leclerc moved right on him but he have cool mind and rolled out in time.... Oupsss ! I didn't have man over the gully because my team was only 3 and my order restrain me on an crossroad area. I didn't have maps and no intel about balka in this aera. When your're on foot all you see is a field flat like hand for kilometers, you found balka only at 10-20 meters. Another point, another time i was in Africa, it's real operations in urban aera, never have to shoot, but i maked some combat patrol in "hostile" zone, at the moment you enter the "zone" your are more vigilant than ever and i think in combat situation your are more good to spot than in normal life, perhaps 40-50% more ! Hello, Well i was a NCO in a French armor Rgt, i was in a recce platoon and i remenber very well not spotting moving AFV in gully before they moved out at 50 meters of my position. Normally you heard motors noise or see gaz smoke, but sometimes wind and sun are not with you. I think the CM spotting engine are good. In an WWII AFV you have not a good fieldview, you didn't heard anything, and your generally very busy on your work. not very easy to spot another tank on the field. Hope my english not to bad Philippe

Hello, I 've buy the CMBN v2.0 and found the manual v2.0 with my DL. So i began to read it, but i've not found change from my printed v1.0 manual. I suppose if it's renamed to V 2.0 they're somes fix or news, but i don't find them. Can i have some "hightlight' on the manual change ? Thanks Philippe

Yeah ! That really that, i'm coming back to desktop PC for running game in good sreen, i'm trying an ATI card at first (5750) but it had a big matter so return to the seller, so i take a Nvidia card (GT430) and all run well ! crysis and CN BN at full option on my 22' my 2cts Philippe

I have tried this ,but the Nvidia driver don't support this videochips, and my videao was very bad, with lots of error msg. On Nvidia site , they say mobile chipset or videocard was not supported by us but by the constructor, so for notebook no generic driver but only constructor driver. The more important is CM run, and this is right.

Well, i'm happy, i've founb new drivers and now i can play CM, it's take me only 4 month to found than Nvidia GO7300 drivers was on Asus site. Hope than can help another notebook player. Thanks Redwolf for your coolblood, sure i'm not the first. Philippe

Hi I have reinstalling DX and Nvidia drivers ( ver 8.2.0.4- no newsdrivers on Nvidia site for Geforce Go7300) I can't take a screenshot of the bluescreen with "printscreen", because the Notebook shutdown immediatly. Do you have an tip for taking this shot, Redwolf ? Thanks for the answer. Philippe

Ok i have retried so the full story is : blue windows (1/2 sec), reboot , XP check of HD, XP boot, when all connecting, error msg from XP. error msg : BCCode:1000008e BCP1:C0000005 BCP2:BFAC65F1 BCP3:B88DE8EC BCP4:00000000 OSver:5_1_2600 SP:2_0 Product:768_1 Hope is suffisant, if not , give me the path to find the available info and i'll post it. Hi Well, i have a notebook : ASUS A6VM Q005H Pentium M740 1,73 GHZ Geforce Go7300 1 Go memory 60 Go HD So i can install CMBB and CMAK, i can launch the game in the first windows, scenar, campgain i can choose type and style of play, but when after the briefing i click the go button the game crash, i have a " blue window of the death". Do you know an issue to this big bug, i have read the troubleshooting file and found no solution. So if you have one, i'll be happy, after years of CM game this is hard time whitout .
