1. Pawbroom: the funniest thing from france since... hmm Anyway, good one Paw =) I might be a bit easier in our upcoming PBEM. Unless you've already SURRENDERED which would explain why I have yet to receive any kind of setup from you! PeterNZ
2. O Keith, how did you find out all the info and maps and stuff? Guess i'm new to this kinda stuff. As an NZ'er, i'd love to have a go at it.. want to join me and work together. Germanboy and I were trying to work out how to mode the trench-raids by the Maori platoons.. we're not sure it could be pulled of successfully PeterNZ
3. I'm confused, (what's new), I was in the email test.. I'm not in the test-campaign thing? Damn. PeterNZ ps. like the PDF [This message has been edited by PeterNZer (edited 10-11-2000).]
4. Londoner, closed threads are closed for a reason, opening another one just means the mod goes "bad boy!" and closes it again. BTW, what do you do at Janes? I have an interest (and some study) of Private Military Companies amongst other things, and enjoy the Janes news brief I get. PeterNZ (in London.. cheering on the Finns tonight )
5. haha It's easiest just to type it yourself. I'd prefer to not even bother renaming 'em. Couple of people I play just use, like 'PeterNZ vs X' and we don't bother numbering em. How often do i want to watch myself loose? PeterNZ
6. OOoooOOOOO! he has to floss and do his nails Monday is fine by me, us antipodeans can drink on any nights, not like those weak Yanks and thier urine-water. PeterNZ
7. come on london peeps, sign yer name here or do i have to put you over my knee? PeterNZ ------------------
quote:
Hamsters Wrote: PeterNZ: He hasn’t proven to be particularly valiant but I think he’d make a good doorman

8. Gosh, this is a deeply fascinating thread. Myself I like to name them based on the starsign of the other player's paternal grandmother indexed with the position of Mars at the time the battle starts, crosslinked to a slap upside the head, Gah! PeterNZ
9. Anyone generated any NZ maps/scenarios? I guess we'd have to use a combo of Canadian/Brit formations, but I'm not to sure on the OOB and TOE thingy for the NZ forces. I know there was lots of kiwis at Monte Casino and throughout Crete etc, but finding maps and details has eluded me, (only tried a web-search so far). Anyone else been more successfull? I've seen pics of Kiwis in fireflies and shermans, so I'm sure the battles would be interesting. 10. Chupie, Germy, Dr Al, Coral, (and anyone else), we're going for drinks on Monday the 16th. Go to leicester square, come out of charing cross road entrance turn, right, then right a few paces down the road and you're infront of a bar, go in there! About 7.pm sounds good to me. We'll talk about the trip to Bovington on Saturday the 21st and generally laugh as the Yank gets drunk on real beer. PeterNZ
11. my god man! ressurecting a thread this dead should be a punishable offence! PeterNZ
12. That's the hardest thing I find, estimating who and what has LOS to your troops, and when they have shown themselves, and when not. I should play a hotseat against myself I guess.. PeterNZ
13. and i think madmatt is in charge of a site redisgn.. hope he keeps away from black/green/red combo PeterNZ

18. I think it's fine to link to other people's pics, as long as you say where you got it I guess. As for Bovington, yup, seen their site. Going to contact them when i get an idea of what we want to do there.. some excuses to get a good play with the tanks ..get inside them and all that. PeterNZ
19. So like Samson, we remove the hat and you collapse into a drunken stupor at the whiff of a baby-cham? PeterNZ
20. Aww, yeah, I know it's a great early war tank.. but I just don't like it because it looks ugly Now the T34.. ooo that thing just looks *mean*. And I hear it was designed by an american, plans started as far back as 1936! Yet the american army wasn't interested so the designer took his plans to russia.. Man.. imagine if the US had those on the western front PeterNZ
21. hi there from the organiser type guy of the london mission to Bovington I would like to go and get some great photos and info for all you people out there, and you lot at BTS as well. Any requests? If we came up with a list of info you lot want we might be able to get some special access to some of these tanks, get inside, drive 'em around, fire off a few rounds I reckon if I had the tiger and Germanboy in a tank i'd have 'im Anyway, back to the issue at hand. Bovington has a huge collection of tanks and vehicles from WW2, do you lot have any info requests? PeterNZ
