  1. What level of FOW were you playing?

someone at BFC will be keen to try to replicate that crash if you can give as many specifics as possible? (they may however want to take this weekend off for a change.... and who can blame them.)

    FOW?

    your System Specs

    Paradox or BFC version?

Can you make it crash again at the same time by doing the same thing?

    (is it replicate-able? replicable?)

  2. which scenario or scenario's look the best or the prettiest in the v1.03?

I would like to find one I don't know about (I have only play tested a few like Ash Shammas )

I don't care about the forces or winning or losing I would just like a few hints or pointers to check out some new scenarios that are more spectular (visually) now in v1.03 smile.gif

    thanks

  4. I think friendly fire from aircraft is accuratly modelled.

"Does CMSF use any sort of IFF system, and also why do aircraft do bombing and straffing outside their designated target areas (including way off map)despite having HQ units observing the target zone?"

    Human Error

Pilots and JTAC still make mistakes

In testing this game I was pleasantly surprised ato see how easy it was to have an air strike take out our own men and vehicles.

These errors are modeled realistically in the game IMHO, the game would far to sanitary and the air strikes FAR too precise if every time you called one in you could know with %100 certianty that it would magically only target the bad guys.

The current system in v1.03 may show some improvement for you and works perfectly fine for me.

As for the patch... we're testing the Final Candidate now. If all goes well with that we should have it packaged up to make installers and copy protect it sometime tomorrow night. Dunno exactly when you guys will see it, but it will be very soon. Couple of days at the most.

    Steve

"couple of days at the most"

    um

    Maybe this is day 0

maybe tomorrow or the day after

    maybe

  6. Is there an existing thread here about how to parition an intel Mac Book Pro for windows XP and playing Windoze games?

I know some of the basics like the disk has to be partitioned, but I would like to hear from folks who have done it who could direct me to step by step instructions for setting up the computer (with details and tech specs) to install Windows XP so there would be no new problems for playing CMSF on my new laptop with the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM

Is anyone running that video card on an intel Mac with Windows XP?

    any suggestions or advice?

(googling now for web pages and web sites that tell mac Guys how to set up intel Macs to play PC games!)

    :D

    thanks

That seems about the right pace for methodical CQC movement.

Hunt also should be known as "Move to Contact" if the attacker moves, and comes in contact with the enemy he stops.

AND, Hopefully the TAC AI when it works right tells them to seek cover and return fire.

BUT I would say I don't think HUNT will let you move and shoot at the same time, that is what Assault is for.
