  1. I'll see if something can be done. I know someone who knows someone who knows someone who might be able to do me a favor.
  2. @George MC posted this along with a few other awesome screenshots from a scenario he is working on. I loved it so much that I thought I'd share.
  3. It was Fionn vs Martin/Moon. I remember the frozen river but the part that always is the first thing to come to mind was Panzerschreck ambush on the HT.
  4. UUmmm,....That is unfair and insulting, mate. Neither of us are beating around the bush. I created an entire thread to let people know there is a delay and why. I'm not sure how that is beating around the bush. It's the opposite if you ask me. What I'm doing is trying to give folks an accurate, detailed and candid update on progress. As in "there has been a delay...this is what the delay entails...this is what the delay doesn't entail". This isn't the first time that I'm left thinking that perhaps less information is better. No more follow up screenshots for you like that T34-85 I put up for you.
  5. I'll elaborate a tiny bit more than Steve, for clarity. The beta testers are not part of the special project. They have been going full bore on making and testing scenarios. Where it affects their progress is waiting for the last few pieces of the TO&E and the speed of new builds that contain fixes. There are currently 18 stand alone battles being worked on (I guess that is a bone of sorts) and @benpark has told me that he is rat-holing a few more. So, progress is going on every day.
  6. HHmmmm.....I tried it with RT before I posted it yesterday. Try viewing a map from a bit of a distance and doing it. Then all of the low level graphics in the background should pop.
  7. Excellent point! One of the comments when @MikeyD and I were going over which vehicles to use for the screenshots he mentioned that the version of the T34-83 (T34-85 M1944 Latest) should only be used in Berlin. I probably shouldn't have done the picture in the deep snow. Without getting into too much detail (it is likely to change so no sense getting too detailed), it's available a lot more in both time and geographic location than the spring of 1945 Germany. It would surprise me if the availability wasn't tightened up before release.
  8. You inspired me!!!!!! I went back through my old emails from Phil and found this: "Just press Shift-Alt-Ctrl, then it’ll make everything “perfect” for ten seconds or so." I just tried it and it works perfectly!!! (you can't imagine how happy this makes me)
  9. Nope. Not right now. There are graphics that are complete but are not in the current build yet. In the current build they look like NVA. And we're not doing a Vietnam game.
  10. There is actually a key that you can hit to give the best LODs (level of detail) but I can't for the life of me remember what key it is. When Phil was with us he told me about what I was doing one of the Beta AARs. He is apparently the only one who knew it and is gone now. But pressing the key does exactly what you're describing.
  11. I mentioned it all that I was comfortable mentioning it. There is a thread someone posted about it around here somewhere and Steve confirmed it though. And, no,, it is not something that you will be able to purchase in the future. Unless you are Queen Elizabeth or Boris Johnson.
  12. Here's another angle to show them a little better (just not as artsy of a shot). I haven't used one of these guys yet but I have heard reports on fausts bouncing off of the "bed springs". (Also, you'll notice in this that the TC isn't positioned correctly yet...as with the SU-100.That's why they're called Betas)
  13. I set the ground to Deep Snow. You'd laugh if you knew how long I worked that thing around until I found shadows that I thought looked really nice. "Maybe I should back it up a tiny bit more.....Almost...now forward a touch.....I wonder if moving it to the right a little would look better......."
  14. It's been a coupla/few weeks since an update was made and that's too long. I have good news and I have bad news........ The bad news. As some may have guessed (and if you don't know what I'm referring to I invite you to explore the whole forum and you'll see what I mean....yes...I am being purposely obtuse) our special project has taken away assets that would otherwise be devoted to getting this module to you guys. That will end (for a while) in the next few weeks allowing full focus to be on this module. The good news is that it hasn't taken all of the assets and things have not stopped moving forward. The number of stand alone battles continues to grow. The campaigns are very far along and waiting for final TO&E to be finished. The only major formations that haven't been added are the Partisans. If they were in you'd see them in the screenshots below. There are a couple of other nice surprises that I will post as soon as I can get them displayed the way that I want to present them (one thing in particular). I'm not going to venture a guess on the release but "very soon" and "very very soon" are not where we're at. But we are at "soon". In the meantime, here are a few things that you haven't seen before. Anyone know what they are?
  15. It is set on June 25, 1944. And it's described by the scenario designer as "This scenario is semi-historical. It has a firm historical background story for flavour, but the map and unit selection is fictional (but representative for what one might expect at that place and time, at least I like to think so...)." Without giving anything away....It is a Soviet attack of a heavily fortified German position. And to call it "heavily fortified" is selling it short.
  16. It took a lot more of a beating before I finished but was still never knocked out.
  17. He does. He is particular to demo charges. He likes the dynamite. Especially the big dynamite. He likes the audio affects. So, the big audio dynamite is his favorite part of the games (see what I did there?)
  18. I'm play testing a FR battle and this guy is my guitar hero right now. His engine, tracks, radio and optics are gone but he's still alive and still getting some kills. I counted 34 hit decals in the screenshot. There are another half dozen on the other side.
  19. Geez guys.....Please...not today of all days. I'm in the middle of a personal tragedy and am in no mood to babysit right now...So please cool it. Thanks.
  20. Cool idea. I think it might be more work than is willing to committed backporting all of the titles just for that. What might be more likely is as new modules/Packs etc come out there is some backporting. I'll certainly pass your thoughts along to HQ. I'm going to try to find some time to post the readme files for each patch on each patches download page. I had thought that when you installed a full game that all the readme files for the games are installed.
  21. The Intel Core i7 is your processor. Look in Device Manager under Video Adapters and see what kind of video card you have. If you only have an Intel integrated card listed then you can try the antialiasing that Commanderski mentioned. Also this article may be helpful: https://battlefront.mojohelpdesk.com/help/article/127911 If you have an Nvidia card, right click the desktop and under 3D Settings (Global) use the drop down menu and set it to run on high performance graphics. That is what I have to do on my laptop to make the blurry text go away.
  22. Is this the fist time you've run the game on this computer? We see this when the game is running on an Intel integrated card. What kind of video card do you have?
