  1. I dont think this is a dead horse issue as much as its an issue that AI is still about 3 generations behind a human in ability. No way they cant make them uber at some point. When is just a matter of perspective. -Ray
  2. The F-14 got ya then. Fox Three!!! -Ray
  3. And sometimes you will just pray that its less turns, like when being tailed and damaged with your best pilot who doesnt have ED. Many times I have prayed for a turn 2 skip to turn 7 bug to hit.... never does..... -Ray
  4. What you have to worry about are Mustangs in those clothes. -Ray
  5. You will prob have to wait till Dan sees this. My guess is your plane died before your comp registered you were in the game. It has happened to me before too. Do you sometimes have bad computer lag? What I mean is when it takes like 45 seconds to process each turn? The object bug has been reported by me already Beat ya to it! My advice is for you to just delete the campaign and start over. Its very short so just be glad it didnt happen in Daylight -Ray
  6. Hi Skuby, Play escort missions and start at high or very high lvl. Buy Power Dive and Zoom climb first then quick reflexes. Wingy get anticipation then any skill that makes the leader better. I dont even buy check six or teamwork anymore (Cant afford it) at 300 exp or so. When you get to around 25 lvl you can also buy IMS2: Destroyed cards and on escort missions take out the closest wingy on first turn. It costs 36 but you can easily get 60 from a mission by that point. May take a little longer to get the big ticket items, but by then you can have the better planes to go with them Also you need to not get mad about it as it wont change. I used to be mad, but then I found a way around it kind of. -Ray
  7. While it isnt a bad idea, I think that it would be too hard for them to change through the code. Also part of the game is to assume risk and only having a 3 day lockout period wouldnt be enough of a penalty. -Ray
  8. Hi John, Ya sometimes it can be like that. Are you saving exp points to buy quick reflexes? It helps in the long run trust me. I usually buy zoom climb, power dive, quick reflexes for my leader, in that order. My wingman I always get anticipation first as it may help to whittle away at the cards. But you wont always face uber pilots like that and its far easier at low level to build exp from escort missions. Always start high and with the power dive you get 2 cards each time you dive. Also at very high you almost always get to dive first on a group. I usually try to take out the wingman first. You will get used to it though hehe. It wont always be so tough. -Ray
  9. Hi Brian, Why dont you just put it on a web page. -Ray

I thought the F-22's were in the the secret campaign, Yamamoto Sinks the Bizmarck. I dont think Stalin got to play that either. -Ray

Um Dan has been deposed, didnt you get the memo? Me-262's in Midway are fun, but my F-14 is better -Ray
  13. Might be gamey but if you dont hurry up and send the hangar I will be forced to entertain other offers! -Ray

Brian you should have told him it was his imagination and everyone else is having such a good time playing we have forgotten about him. Demote yourself to Lead Programmer!!!! -Ray
  16. Its a long campaign man, a long campaign! -Ray
  17. Its easier if you try to avoid the uber bots until they are fatigued. Send in the heavy bombers in two flights and then next turn rush with you best fighters. If you kill a few early, its a different war man! No fighters or fatigued fighters makes for victory! -Ray
  18. What No French?????? I want my money back!!!! -Ray
  19. Schugger, Greetings, I read the review, understood 4 words, and will have to take a frenchmans word on the contents (Kuroi is the frenchman I am refering to.) Wait till you get the full game my friend, all that demo tactics stuff will have to be forgotten against the bots! Finding the Very Very Low Altitude is something of an exact science that all skill lvls of players can do equally!!! I do suggest you play the campaign from the demo. The tactical choices keep you on your toes and playing god in sending your poor pilot who is fatigued into the teeth of the enemy makes for some head smacking moments! The more I get into the campaigns, the less I am starting to care about the ladder dogfights. They are truly not the same game twice, and the AI isnt always a pushover even when equal in skills. Daylight 44 is like a game all by itself, and I am hoping they will make a mega campaign that goes far beyond the current version of Daylight. And since you are German you can't unlock the 7th turn, only Californians with 2 DIF squadrons can my friend. But I will show you if you defect with a Me-262 and fly it to my house. I will need a suitable hangar also, so you had better be saving your euros!!! Malibu is the far opposite of cheap. -Ray
  20. Dont play a Sixxkiller Squadron pilot as they are the best EVER!!!! They will shoot you down in 7 turns!!!! Be afraid Be VERY AFRAID. -Ray PS My tagline in no way endorses the above statement and no matter how many coronas I have had tonight shouldn't affect the fear that should be bestowed upon you.
  21. But the Glad has AGILITY!!!!! Hehe j/k. Sorry your pilot died. A day at the pub will fix it. -Ray
  22. My bragging has come at a cost though. He is w/o ED now and his last 2 games he was shot down against X2 target pilots. Still alive but got a bad feeling..... -Ray
  23. While I know many of you guys may have had 4 kill games, I just had my first and what a rush. So many times I was close with 3 kills.... My first turn I got a destroyed card and an ace pilot and took out the Spit XIV wingman after he played an ace card and couldnt match it with a second. Next round I took out the Huricane II wingy with a masterful barage. Next turn the Spit tailed me and got me all the way down to 1 point left. At the end of the turn, I reversed with 2 half loops and got him down to smoking state. Turn 4 was spent going after the other Hur II and I smoked him and finished him on turn 5. So turn 6 the Spit attacked and got me to tailed, shot 3 times and I fended him off, reversed, and got the remaining 3 hits on my last offensive card. Lvl 30 is fun (Now lvl 34). Next game should get the Fw-190 for some real fun.
  24. But that J2M is thinking "Munro Meat Taste Better in a Corsair!" -Ray
