  1. rrrroooowwwrrrr! *breaks out in a sweat, then rushes off for a cold shower* Mace
  2. From what I recall from the one time I actually got to fire a Bren while in army cadets, the thing used to pull forward after recoil and drift slightly to the left, even from a prone position. So I think it'd be a bit of bugger to hip fire. Not sure if you mean another weapon because the Bren wasn't water cooled. Mace
  3. There was no question mark, so perhaps it was a statement? Now while we're on the subject of building damage modelling, *inserts smiley *, the CMx1 series dealt with it by allocating damage across the entire structure, rather than the face that took the most damage. Hence will building damage be enhanced in CMx2? (ie can we have cases where a wall collapses on one facing while the rest of the structure remains standing) Mace
  4. Oh? Congratulations with your new venture, Seanachai! Mace
  5. And I'll do the Australian circuit. Especially as someone *..cough ..me.. cough..* got left off the beta team it's probably reasonable compensation. Mace
  6. You'd need to model to the smallest element, in this case the individual soldier, so IMHO 1m x 1m would be more applicable than 8m x 8m tiles. Mace
  7. So Rune, given that the euthanasia age was 30+, you'll be volunteering first? Mace
  8. I'd prefer a point based system rather than tile, but I'd be quite be quite happy to see the 1x1m system adopted as long as there's no set limitation to altitudes as there are now. Mace
  9. That's really a matter of personal opinion. An AI is normally predictable and less prone in taking risks than a human opponent, but IMHO the CM series AI did the job OK and was far better that that of equivalent tactical level wargames. Mace
  10. I don't drink any sort of 'lite'! You've had a rough trot, but heads up cobber. Mace
  11. A bastard of a Place - Peter Brune, which covers Australian operations in New Guinea. Here's a review. Mace

It's Log, Log, it's better than bad, it's good! Everyone wants a log! You're gonna love it, Log! Come on and get your log! Everyone needs a Log Mace
  13. Oh ok. *shoves it back into Seanachai's mouth* Mace
  14. It's not Dolly btw. This slipper is immitation wool, not the real thing! *wanders off to look for Dolly* Mace
  15. OUCH! And pain... pain seems to be right at home in Hell as well. Mace
  16. *SNIFF* I love the smell of brimstone in the evening! Mace
  17. Hey has anyone seen Dolly lately? She's not in her pen! *concerned* Mace

  20. *GASP* THOSE BASTARDS!!! THEY MUST REALLY HATE YOU!!! Errr...... Wait on a minute, we really hate you too. We hate you enough to chuck molten TNT at you, but we wouldn't make you drink NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER!!!! In Australia, that would be considered the only valid reason for justifiable homocide. Oh the humanity! Mace
  21. Tum te tum, *cleans fingernails with very large knife* Talking to me? Mace
