  1. Small things can make you happy. Thank you, Phil. Brilliant as ever.
  2. If that's true, I think it's a serious mistake by Ukraine.
  3. That is also my opinion. If that 'somebody' is prepared to blow up an entire house block, full of their own people, to justify 'anti-terrorist-operations', they won't hesitate to send drones against their own people.
  4. They are simply superb. Been using them for years now.
  5. Found it. Beautiful maps. But only playable from the Bolshie side, I see.
  6. Corrupt indeed. The interesting thing is that such sites sometimes contain information that can't be found anywhere else, not even in the divisional accounts. So much is still hidden in War diaries, reports etc., that hundreds of books can be written by a dozen Douglas E. Nash. https://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/de/nodes/1-fond-500/ https://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/de/nodes/9331-findbuch-12482-regimenter-der-wehrmacht
  7. That would be a great honor for our little country. We are receiving more and more F-35s, so we can send F-16s to Ukraine within weeks.
  8. Great atmosphere. I'm recently reading Hinze, Niepold and others again, to get more insight in what really happened during the German collapse. I think the German infantry divisions did all they could, but the odds were simply too much against them. Only a timely retreat to the Beresina and beyond, resulting in more German reserves, could have improved the situation a little, but even then the situation was pretty hopeless. A couple of Panzer divisions also could have prevented the catastrophic loss of men, but not the collapse itself. Your maps are very good and I love your eye for detail.
  9. It also partly explains why a pre-Bagration retreat behind the Beresina wasn't approved by OKH.. It would have been a very difficult operation, especially because most supply depots were near the frontline and it would have taken months to evacuate them. Wrong decision of course, but no doubt a useful argument for the big man in Berlin not to allow Hrs.Gr.Mitte to do a operation Buffel. One of his biggest blunders in my opinion.
  10. Artkin, what was the name of that campaign again? I probably have it, but I take no risks.
  11. I see. Well, you know what you"re talking about. Less sure of myself, so okay, you could be right. But I still think CM can endure another couple of years, until the new engine is ready. Hopefully we will all live to see that day.
  12. Yep. And given the alternative I prefer to keep to keep it that way. But seriously, BFC has been given us great games for more than 25 years now. So a little trust is in order, I think. I doubt whether complicated wargames such as CM appeal to young people. Once they're getting older they will realize CM is unique. Hell, perhaps they will even start to read good books about warfare.
  13. That will even be the limit for the hungry wolves of this forum.
  14. Knowing BFC they will work on both. The chimney has to smoke, you know.
  15. Just kidding, Sublime. It's your opinion and I respect that. But BFC is working on CMx3, so in the meantime producing more modules for CMx2 sounds like good idea to me. I'm still in love with how CMx2 looks and feels, but that's me. I'm conservative and old fashioned. And turning 60 this Summer...For me CM will always be a boy's dream come true.
