Some competition-A Time of Wrath
Kuniworth replied to John DiFool the 2nd's topic in Strategic Command - PACIFIC THEATER
Ive played SC1 just the other day, it's outdated sure, but with retreat rules it would have been fantastic. In sc2 Tiles are still a big problem for encirclements and getting a coherent frontline. That's why I always said sc2 works better with division sized scenarios where there are a lot more spaces. My hope now is that they go for sc3 but I guess that another sc2 expansion is on its way. -
Congrats Rambo for beating ScottyMM!
Kuniworth posted a topic in Strategic Command - PACIFIC THEATER
Well done lad! I always knew you would win, not sure if Scotty quit before victory but from what Ive read you destroyed his fleet eg game over anyway. Now do you have the guts to fight me in my nach Stalingrad scenario with AAR? This will be your true test for the championship crown... -
Question about forum rules

Here is more from ScottyMM from the same thread: -
If I would make a Mod or change the game.
Kuniworth replied to jon_j_rambo's topic in Strategic Command - PACIFIC THEATER
Hm without telling Rambo? Seems like quitting to me... -
He moderators I have a question: In the thread "If I would make a Mod or change the game" Scott MM posts this to Rambo: In the rules it states: "Disagreement between Members is not only expected, it is generally desirable because it is impossible to have an intellectually meaningful Forum if everybody agrees 100% of the time. However, there is a very big difference between a respectful disagreement (argument) and an abusive exchange (fight). It is our job, as moderators and Members alike, to know the difference between these two things and to react positively towards the former and negatively towards the latter. Otherwise these Forums will become like so many other Forums... effectively useless." and more "No foul language, even if it isn't directed at an individual." According to the rules Scott MM should now recieve a warning right? Do you agree? If you say yes to that question, he SOULD be banned now after posting similar posts some months ago: "Plan and simple you’re a DISGRACE to every member on this forum." "In the past couple of days it has become apparent to me that you might have a disease called Dyslexia." "I want to get back to discussing topics that are meaningful to the SC series, but as human beings you must realize that when me and SeaMonkey make a mistake we genuinely say sorry for it as we didn’t mean anybody harm, but both JJR and Kuniworth don’t say sorry, and instead move onto attacking their next victim which is just totally wrong, and for anybody that supports those people you are just as wrong. Anyway getting away from these two cruel people let’s get back to discussing the importance of the small islands and the role they play in Operation Z." It will be VERY interesting to see if the same rules apply for ScottMM as for everyone else. I have yet to see him contributing anything but getting into fights on this board and scaring away the loyal crowd. however if you moderators do not agree on a banning, then the rules apperently only apply to some members and it's ok for some to call other people "insane".

How to pull of sea lion?
Kuniworth replied to gordoha's topic in Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and Weapons and Warfare
use your airforce to pulverize the enemy on the ground. Then land hq, inf and tanks. -
I was a bit pissed to play this scenario and then suddently only get a minor victory. The problem is that that the date is wrong for US capture of Manilla causing the game to end in a minor victory before the US has the canche to get clark's airfield too. { #NAME= USA Minor Victory #POPUP= USA MINOR VICTORY #IMAGE= #SOUND= #FLAG= 1 #TYPE= 2 #AI= 0 #LEVEL= 0 ; Set global variable condition to always trigger (dummy value) #GV= 1[1,100] ; Set link value to always trigger (dummy value) #LINK= 0[0] #TRIGGER= 100 #ALIGNMENT= 2 #DATE= 1944/10/20 ; Japanese control -> Manila #MAP_POSITION= 28,28 } As you see the minor victory will trigger before end of time for scenario.

Bringing the Outer Islands into Play

Guys no offence but this a forum about strategic command. Personal relations are better handled through e-mail. -

You actually think that this is the most disgusting thing you ever encountered in your whole life???? Are you kidding me? You certainly live life on the sensitive side that's for sure. Maybe it's like Rambo said: "If you are on some kind of medication maybe you should quit. If not maybe you should start." Seriously though, stop complaining and lets discuss this topic instead. No one likes a whiner. -

Scttsmm Oh man. You act like a chicken and then try to blame it on me? As Rambo said, a bit of argument is healthy, not the mcdonalds. Truth is Seamonkey and JJR had a funny conversation and you could not stand it, got nervous, cried for mommy and then wanted peace on earth. Why? Because you only watch tellitubies and want things to be boring and happy like barbie-land. Then you throw an alibi-line stating that if you are friends thats ok. Now you gotta chose. Either you continue to act like a 5-year old or you behave like an adult. And I think you should send Rambo and SM a present each and apologize for saying to them "they have been around for a few years and think they should be gods, and treated as such" -

Scottsmm must be 14 or something "mommy the big boys are fighting and Im not a stud and think its so terrible buhuuu" Get a grip on reality. I know you think it's cool talking to some legendary members like SeaMonkey and Rambo,. but go get their autograph then and stop this peace-diplomacy. Also accusing Rambo of a small weenie is something of a cheap shot, below the belt. -

Hey weenie man JJR and Seamonkey are veterans since the start of sc1. They are part of the Old Guard like me. The SC forums are known to be about smack talk, can't stand the heat get the hell out of the kitchen. So stop whining and either smack back or go play out in the yard. But in any case visit the link to SC Buntaland(link in my sig) and read more about this community. -
Yeah it would be better to have like you need 5 units in Manchoku instead. SImple and easy to understand.

Sure operation bagration was a victory but it was far from the fantastic performance it later became famous to be. If you count killed and wounded soviet losses were much higher than the germans and would estimate far beyond 700,000+.
-
There were certainly many factors involved, but the cold fact is that the US had a new awesome weapon, a perfectly justified reason to get revenge and an oppurtunity to try it "for real".

Well I'm sure a global expansion is in the making, judging from earlier statements. However why not shock us all by going back to hexes for this release? -
The only problem with what you are saying Arado is as always that it depends on the other side doing nothing. But in war sides act and react all the time. The truth is that their were tons of more missed opportunities for the allies and the Soviet Union then there were for the axis.
