xian
It's a small thing but... Just playing through the Raff campaign and I'm glad I read the manual because I wouldn't have known how many setup zones there were meant to be in mission 2. There are about 5 different coloured zones (purple, green, light blue, dark blue, mauve). I realise that the terrain underneath must be affecting the colour but it is highly confusing. Could this be fixed?
Baneman
Tend to agree, the CMx1 outline system was better IMO. Playing a scenario recently, I discovered that there were multiple setup zones - but only by trying to move some stuff at deployment and finding I couldn't because they were variations on red ( light/dark/orangey etc. ) and when next to each other, were really hard to tell apart.
thejetset
I agree with this too. The setup zones in CMx1 were easier to understand.
Broadsword56
They should be outlined for better visibility, IMHO. No matter if that's a bit ugly, since they disappear when you start the battle. Or let a player toggle the lines on/off.
James Crowley
Yes, I would have to agree. Depending on the underlying terrain, the colours can be very difficult to differentiate.
Pvt. Ryan
I didn't have a problem with it in CMSF, but I do in CMBN. I guess it's the green terrain.
