Brian the Dane
I read the posts... Fascinating...really, As I think the both of you are very interesting, very different yes, but the answer to that is just to talk about everything else regarding Global, except each other. (kind of like don't put the hair dryer in the jacuzzi). New game coming, happy days are here. And good observations from both of you...
Snowstorm
I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but another new option in the manual is the "sleep" option. Very useful for units you don't intend to move for a number of turns. Just right-click on the unit, and it stops flashing and goes dormant until you right-click on it again to re-activate it.
Bill101
The Quick Animation (AI/Replays) is one of my favourites among the new features because it speeds up gameplay quite significantly, and faster turns equals more games!
Hubert Cater
Hi Hubert, very glad for the news that it was the manual that was missing it and not the game, i think this is one of the very good improvments for GLOBAL! Just a quick update that the Manual has now been updated to reference the new combat model. This can now be found on page 38 highlighted by the 'New!' marker.
