JonS
So, amphibious vans. Apparently they're all the rage these days. You can have your very own, if you want one. Incidentally, Cook Strait is marked on nautical maps as one of the most dangerous stretches of water in the world. Just saying, ya know.
Sergei
At least they weren't stupid enough to go without escorting boats.

Michael Emrys
This van is so rad, it once got a girl pregnant just from looking at it. LOL! Do all Kiwis talk like that? Michael

costard
"I do think there are (sic) a shortage of people like that in New Zealand." Hmm, I wonder why? SO - why hide NZ's light under a bushel? You all speak like that, all the time.

Michael Emrys
Nah, the Kiwi's just are slow to catch on these things... They're still receiving mail from the 1890s. It took a long time for the packet boats to make it around the Horn, what with adverse winds and all... Michael
Stalins Organ
Ahh...good try...but no....25 years puts the 80's firmly back on, oh....say New Yorkers ....or Sydney runways.....it's a cyclical thing....

As long as the barbarians don't sack the place, again, I s'pose. Edit: BTW, bidding on the amphivan is up over $6k
Michael Emrys
BTW, bidding on the amphivan is up over $6k Some Hollywood mogul will probably scoop it up for $100,000 and mount it in his living room. Michael

Michael Emrys
So I should get my second PBM turn of Kingdom soon then? It's on the way...unless your ship hit an iceberg. In which case, I predict that your fortunes are about to hit bottom. Michael
Dietrich
This van is so rad, it once got a girl pregnant just from looking at it. I had no idea that "rad" means "capable of impregnating without physical contact." Makes me embarrassed to have uttered said word so many times in my late adolescence.

Michael No that's what they do to starlets, not amphivans. Get your toys straight, man!
Stalins Organ
Sold for NZ$9100 to someone from the town they made it in...... not a bad profit margin!
