Michael Emrys
I found on YouTube and thought some of you might find it interesting. Some nice shots I hadn't seen elsewhere and claims for its use on aerial bombs and rockets I hadn't encountered before. Michael

luderbamsen
Intresting side-note: Julius Rosenberg, an American spying for the Soviet Union, delivered just such a radio proximity fuze to his KGB handler.

John Kettler
Michael Emrys, Will have a look. The 1947 Boyce book NEW WEAPONS FOR AIR WARFARE in the Office of Scientific Research and Development Science in World War II series has extensive discussion and photos on the development and fielding of the Fuze, Variable Time, to include applications other than tube artillery. If really intrigued, some of the inert ordnance sites have actual fuzes available for purchase or swap. Regards, John Kettler
