  1. Here are some less well known resources, share yours: Peter Mansoor, The GI Offensive in Europe: The Triumph of American Infantry Divisions, 1941-1945 https://www.amazon.com/GI-Offensive-Europe-Divisions-1941-1945/dp/070060958X/ref=sr_1_48?m=A374VS59X5ED68&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1475525214&sr=1-48 Paul Jeffers, Onward We Charge: The Heroic Story of Darby's Rangers in World War II https://www.amazon.com/Onward-We-Charge-Heroic-Rangers/dp/0451221281/ref=sr_1_63?m=A374VS59X5ED68&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1475525413&sr=1-63 Joseph Balkoski, From Brittany to the Reich: The 29th Infantry Division in Germany, September - November 1944 https://www.amazon.com/Brittany-Reich-Infantry-Division-September/dp/0811711684/ref=sr_1_83?m=A374VS59X5ED68&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1475525413&sr=1-83 Samuel Mitcham, The Desert Fox in Normandy: Rommel's Defense of Fortress Europe https://www.amazon.com/Desert-Fox-Normandy-Rommels-Fortress/dp/0815411596/ref=sr_1_106?m=A374VS59X5ED68&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1475525413&sr=1-106 G.H. 2. Who are the "tankers in the beta group"? What is their résumé?
  3. Was the armored division patch on the tanker uniform worn on the left breast instead of the left shoulder? Specifically speaking of the 2nd armored division?
  4. "Biography of a Battalion" James A. Huston (Battalion OPs Officer) 3rd Battalion, 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Division "The Clay Pigeons of St Lo" Glover S. Johns Jr (Battalion Commander) 1st Battalion, 115th Infantry Regiment, 29th Division
  5. That is not the point, stop making excuses! I sent a large infantry force over the low bocage, the area was clear, the Sherman would not cross the low bocage. It is a Glitch. Stop making excuses for Real Problems. The fanbois on this forum do more harm then good. If you don't know the answer stay out of the discussion. If You don't work for BFC, don't answer for BFC. Do not excuse away Real Game Problems with pseudo-history you Know Nothing about. In Normandy in June-July 1944 M4 Shermans did indeed cross low bocage if it was proven clear and safe. Fact.
  6. One man's "place holder" is another's Pay $50 to Beta Test
  7. Shocked?? Give it a rest please. It's stuff like this that destroys the good game companys like BFC. Does it hurt anyone that there still is no forum or name or that the game is a year late? No. They will get it done.
  8. It's ok to love a niche product and it's ok feel good about it and have fun and enjoy what you are doing and not care what others say about your hobby. No harm with that wargamers have been doing that for 30 years. But it borders on fanboy delusion to think that your favorite little niche product is at the top of it's larger market segment "world". At best you can say it is good at what it does to fill it's tiny little niche, although even that is laughable. I can make a game about shoveling crap and if it is the only crap shoveling game on the market I can make myself feel all warm and fuzzy about it by calling it the "best CS game ever" that only a few hundred people play. And I do not believe the "good sales" routine. Good sales would mean that a large amount of people bought the game and if even a small percentage of those people were talking about it there would some sort of buzz on the net, not just the same dozen or so folks on the niche publishers website. I really like this game and play it more often then other games (not waiting on WW2 either I like Modern games) but I am a realist. I like that it is a niche game and that it does what it set's out to do very well and that is has a small diehard following. But I'll never say that it is the best at anything or on top of the gaming world. It is what it is, nothing more. When you can deal with that you'll have much more fun. Had to say my peace, flame me for speaking in reality if you want, don't really care.
  9. Wow, were you being serious? At the top of wargaming? There is absolutely no buzz on any wargaming forum about this game. Well nothing positive. You are missing a heck of a lot of great games. I don't want to post links but check Wargamer.com and Gamesquad.com for starters.
  10. Have alwyas had an eye of CotD but never pulled the trigger on a purchase. Then cama NPC and have loved it ever since. Sometimes wonder if CotC is worth it?
  11. Anxiously awaiting the demo.
