JayA55
Hey everyone, I figured since CMSF only has an IP connection for MP then it'd be best to create an xfire group to easily meet up and play with other shock force gamers. So, if your interested in some MP action please join the group it's the easiest way. http://www.xfire.com/clans/cmsf/ thanks
Apocal
I'll join as soon as I get home tomorrow. There is also two CMSF Hamachi groups, but that is kind of... limited because of the 50 player max group size.
JayA55
Thanks to everyone who joined so far, let's continue to get some more guys signed up though. Also, if anyone wants higher status in the group to invite members or do anything special just let me know and I'll set you up.

panzermartin
Great idea! Thanks for creating this in the first place. My only problem is, I need to host through hamachi since it seems I dont have a valid IP adress other than my Router's. Anyone knows what I have to do to let people connect through a static IP?

-Pv-
Ali-Baba : You need to use the IP address your router is connected to, not your computer's IP the router assigns to you for the game connection. Also, you need to forward the ports CMSF uses in your router's software. I think this detail is in the SF manual. Set up TCIP in your computer connection to be static so your router port assignments will go to the right computer. -Pv-

I think I tried that once and got lost in the process.

AlExal
Hi, also interested in joining online battles. My nickname in xfire is elaxal. The only problem I have is that my game is of 1.10 version. Is it important when playing online?
-Pv-
I remember seeing it mentioned everyone has to play the same version. I don't know of an online game where this is not true. Upgrading to the latest patch is free so why not? -Pv-

Is it important when playing online? Yes, You need to have the version 1:11. There are excellent reasons to install the patch 1:11, and no reason to remain at the 1:10 .
