Falconander Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 I was sitting here thinking about things and wanted to know people's favorite part of this game. Is it your tanks blasting away, your squads assaulting a building, Tow missles streaking across the dusk sky, stealthy ambushes...??? Mine has to be the incoming fire. Last night played a match and called in everything from mortar to howitzer to apaches. Hearing the radio chatter with the blasts falling from the sky and watching the flashes of exposion everywhere is just awesome. I love a good infantry assault. When you suppress the target and cover the area with smoke and then send your guys in to secure the building. Setting up an assault and seeing two squads dash off and a third sit on overwatch only to open up when OPFOR show themselves and the ensuing firefight and terrain negotiation is quite immersive. ShaneO Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 I love the scenarios where a small number of guys have to sneak about, either infiltrating stealthily or legging it from a desperate situation. birdstrike Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 I like, how the vehicles shudder from the recoil of their guns - from the Abrams firing its 120mm down to the Humvee firing its M2.
