WIP: 1st AD in OIF vehicle/uniform mods

Recommended Posts

Working on some 1st Armored Division in OIF vehicle and uniform skins.

First and most Important, I built on the mods created by a few other modders.

The problem is, I don't remember all the mods I used, so if you see your work here, let me know, I want to give you credit.

GordonMolek: M1A1 NATO camo

M1A1TC: MRS, Track

Some historical uses for these mods:

The division deployed to Iraq in '03-'04 and '06-'07

In '03-'04 the division deployed with NATO camo vehicles and DCU's for troops. In '06-'07 the vehicles were still NATO but the troops had been issued ACU's.

Some areas the division operated in: '03-'04-Baghdad, Sadr City, Karbala, Al Kut, Najaf/Kufa; '06-'07-Tal Afar, Ramadi.

For hypothetical scenarios: by some accounts the division was to be the follow-on-force behind 4th ID attacking out of Turkey.

It could also do the same into Syria.

Currently I'm working on M1A1 skins for 1-37 Armor (Bandits) and 2-37 Armor (Iron Dukes), 1st Bde, 1st AD.

Here are some initial screens of the M1A1's

...Where are there M-4s?

Uh-Oh, these guys are in touble, they are gonna have to pay for those, 1SG always says "an arms length away only!!".....

Just joking,

So that I could get a better look at the uniforms during testing, I used an Alpha-Channel to make the weapons disappear.
