c3k
Gents, I've finally gotten around to the training campaign. My Javelins knocked out the Syrian T-54's. One of the crewmen survived (well, for a few minutes anyway). I was playing at "Basic" difficulty, so I had total information on the Opfor. The surviving crewman was depicted with an AK-74, yet the unit information screen showed him having a handgun (PM). He died before I could advance anyone close enough to allow him to return fire to find out which weapon the game would use (single rounds, close range versus faster automatic fire at longer range?). Thanks. 1.06, Ken
dixon_el
That is no graphics error. The bastard possessed an illegal weapon in a combat zone. I am personally going to try an have him court marshalled (post humorously, of course), to teach him a lesson he won't soon forget. Let one of them get away with it and the whole game will go to pot. Where is battlefront when we NEED them? Fixing some important error no doubt....duh!! I can't stand the irony of all this.

MikeyD
Yeh, no animations of pistol-wielding bailed tankers. But if you get close enough (without killing him) he'll fire off single pistol-sounding pops that probably won't hit anything. So everything's in there for a gunfight at the OK corral BUT the animations.
SlapHappy
Sounds like some animation placeholders that were supposed to be replaced but then got back-burnered with the earlier than hoped for release date.
M1A1TC
Most of the animations in CMSF are placeholders
Cameroon
Originally posted by M1A1TankCommander: Most of the animations in CMSF are placeholders Ouch, harsh much? I'll say I haven't spent a lot of time looking at the inf animations with a critical eye (too busy trying to figure out where to send them without getting them killed ), but still, they don't seem ridiculous or anything.

M1A1TC
Thanks a lot for the compliment I am glad you like it. I just brought more realism and detail to the BFC's model [ December 21, 2007, 12:54 PM: Message edited by: M1A1TankCommander ]
