Crinius
When will the download be available for us folks here at good ole Europe? As we are ahead of time will we be able to dl it sooner? Or is the release depending on US time?
ParaBellum
I expect the release to depend on US time. Every other solution would just unnecessarily complicate things.
Cpl Steiner
Won't it actually work the other way around for us Europeans? If downloads start at midnight on the 27th US time, then it will be about 5am over here as the Americans are 5 hours behind us.
Crinius
I hope it depends on GMT. As you all know every minute counts . I could barely wait any longer.
rune
US time, and we never said what time. Rune
Sirocco
It might help with server load if it's early GMT, or late GMT. You're reducing demand on one continent or the other. I hope it won't be the latter.

"we release it today" "no we dont" "we dont know when we release it" "we release it today" "sorry, we dont know" It´s 3 days before the release day. If the game isnt finished yet, it will never be done on friday and it´s ok to say "Sorry guys, we release the game on monday/in 2 weeks/2 years". But i dont wanne wait for nothing, if its predictable that the release date cant be held. Just my 2 EuroCents
Moon
As usual, everybody who pre-ordered from us will be notified by email first that their download is ready. When exactly this will be depends on a number of things (among them for example testing the servers and the whole infrastructure). Then, sometime on friday during the course of the day, we're going to throw the switch and officially announce that the game is available for download, at which time the pre-order offer ends, and will be replaced by the usual delivery options (download only, download & hardgoods and hardgoods only) at the regular prices. rune
Achim, Moon already answered. Where did I say it was not on the 27th? All I said is we never said a time. Obviously things go on behind the scenes, so an exact time won't be known. Amazes me how people read into things. Rune

Scipio
I'm still waiting for my notification email for the release of TOW.
Bonxa
Would it be possible to utilize BitTorrent in the distribution? It would seem to be ideal in this case where there are a lot of people who want to download the same thing at the same time. Since you have an e-license system this should be doable, no?

rune
Yes, I can see how a spam filter stopped from getting a message has to do with reading into things. Rune
