mav1
It would be quiker to find the game you want to play with a slider. if you have created a lot of battles or have saved a lot of games, it can take an age to scroll down the page. Especially if the battle you want to play is at the bottom of the page.
J Ruddy
I fail to see how a slider will help you to find saved games...
mav1
It would just make it quicker than scrolling down the page, espically if the battle you want to play begins with z.
Homo ferricus
i can live with the inconvenience of tapping my mouse button several times.
cassh
Scroll or slide - hmmm my mouse has a scroll wheel but not slider button - therefore I think from a UI point of view I'd prefer scrolling.
mav1
How about seperate screens, each for saved battles and scenarios?
C'Rogers
How about seperate screens, each for saved battles and scenarios? As someone who saves a lot of battles on the last turn I have quite a cluttered scenario box and have to go down a few pages to get to the battles. However I can always just move the save files to different folder if it becomes to bothersome. So I would put this as a something that would be nice, but on an extremly minor level.
luderbamsen
The old system was brilliant. Ok so maybe a slider would have removed a slight inconvenience, but all in all it worked extremely well, especially for someone utterly useless with computers like me. Just saying...
Kilroy Lurking
Hi! While we are at it - how about customiseable sub-folders for - "Played, Huge, small, unwinable" etc... David
John Kettler
J Ruddy, Good one! Isn't one of those tiny White Castle burgers also called a slider? Regards, John Kettler
