They do?

Both (the CM1 series and CMx2) are highly detailed tactical simulations using the we-go system on a 3d-battlefield. Scale will still be company-batallion level. Turns will still (most probably) be 60s. There will be a scenario editor and quick battles. Accurate OOBs. Extremely detailed weapons and armour modelling. Artillery and air support. Morale.

Easy to learn but hard to master.

Its kinda hard to answer these questions because ... well... nobody's SEEN the game yet!

But I suspect terrain contours will be important in troop deployment, just like in the others. And running your men arcross an open field into the teeth of a MG will still be a bad idea. And you'll probably stll be able to run your poor men to exhaustion, like in the other games.

Small question. I see your 'Junior Member' tag. Have you played any of the CMx1 games? CMx1 and CMx2 games will probably both be a bit of a shock to people raised on straight diet of shooter games.

The CMx2 experience will feel familiar to CMx1. The core concepts of how the game is structured and the philosophies behind it are very similar. However, like anything of this complexity, the devil is in the details. Therefore, even though the basic elements are largely the same, the two games will be quite different. Depending on your style of gameplay it could be massively different (i.e. relying on gamey stuff to win) or just very different.
