Cpl Steiner Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 Hi, Whilst playing a hot-seat game a Stryker was hit by something that "panicked" the crew and the passengers. Subsequently, I couldn't get the squad to dismount. Eventually both the crew and squad were just "rattled", at which point the squad could get out. This got me wondering. Who actually opens the doors for the squad in the game, the crew or the squad themselves? Lt Belenko Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 In other threads there was talk that dismounting seemed to have a bug. I'd bet anyone could open the door in real life. And there is probably a emergency release even if the engine was off and the batteries were dead. SgtMuhammed Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 As for physically opening the ramp; unless it it different than every other US APC, it is the driver who has the control. Yair Iny Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 Not sure about a stryker, but from my own experience, in an M113, the driver does it, and no, there is no manual release.
