Ryan Crierie
Anyone hope to see this modelled in game?
ParaBellum
Oh my god! What a horribly-looking piece of military hardware! Looks like a shopping cart for bad neighborhoods.

MikeyD
That, sir, is a regulation Stryker. Slightly smaller than a city bus. 40 foot turn radius. Perhaps fifty tons fully stowed, manned and with the cage attached. Moon already said the cage was eventually going to be modelled in the game. The cage is supposed to work by letting the nose of the RPG pass, then bashing the sheetmetal body so it'll short out the connection between the nose fuse and the igniter. From what I hear about half the RPGs fired are duds regardless, and half the live RPGs that hit the cage detonate. The first round to hit a Stryker actually pierced the bow! But they've been lucky since then as far as catastrophic penetrations go. (Yes, I'm a definite Stryker model grog, Even drew up my own 1:35 scale plans including cage ...from scratch!)
